Just seen this this now, 60p!!! 4 years ago when I first bought in, I had had a target of selling 50% at 2p and the rest when we eventually got to 10p. I got lucky when we got the licence over a year ago and managed to more than double my original holding. Sold half of this when we got to 4p a few months back. Now I’m sat with my original holding and 60p is being mentioned. Even 1/3 of this will be life changing! Hopefully, we’ll have a better idea in the coming weeks once news comes in.

As much as everyone hates dilution, it is often necessary. The terms of the loan are very good considering the current sp. Plus, atleast now there’s very minimal chance that we’ll sell out for less than a penny, so if there’s any LTH’s that are in at higher than 1p, now looks like a good time to average down. Although, admittedly it’s sounding like we may actually gain finance and go it alone, which will be very profitable in the long run. Fingers crossed!

I thought the same thing initially about it being undersold, but the thing you’ve got to remember is that AAU’s expertise is in exploration, not the actually mining. Entering into the JV has a number of benefits in that production costs may potentially be reduced (more economic plant and experience), AAU’s own overheads directly related to the mining will be reduced and we’ll have more time to dedicate to exploration activities. Plus, there’s the likelihood that Salinbas will be off the ground much earlier than without the JV. The outcome is pretty much going to be that our revenue will dramatically decrease, but our profit margins will considerably increase. My only concern is that even though margins will increase, will it actually be more profitable?

The positive is that we’re in a win win situation, which very few on the AIM get to be in. We’re already producing and at a profitable rate and we have the option to enter into a JV that is also very profitable.

I’ve just been read through the last RNS regarding Tavsan. High grades like that could allow us potentially produce around 50k Au per annum. That would be near double what we produced last year (which was very profitable itself). I’m definitely looking forward to the actual resource estimate in Q2 this year.

There’s the prospect of this new JV going through the end of the month, which if goes through would allow us to fast track Salinbas, allowing production of another 100k Au per annum.

$33m loan to be completely paid off in April. Possibly meaning that we’re completely self sufficient for all future production and exploration work.

Release of our first ever divi when the year end results come in (June). Potentially a second special divi if we do end up entering the JV at the end of this month.

The big one - Gold prices have continually being going upward and look set to keep doing so!

I’d set my target as 10p per share for in a couple of years time but after the constant positive news, I might have to double this target!

All we need now is an update on the progress at Bordersley to keep this moving upwards.

A lot of the time yes, but like EUA for me it had 4 consecutive days of big rises. It usually all depends on the first hour. There’s always a mass of sells, then it all comes down to the whether or not people jump back in afterwards once they’ve made a few quid already.

Well there was a few sellers first thing but we’ve managed to go up by 15% already. Looks like there’s was a number of people that must have heard the news late on (me being one of them!). Provided there’s not a mass sell out this morning, I reckon we’ll have a similar rise as yesterday.

With kibo, thanks to averaging down a bit whilst we were nice and I’ve now got an average of .4p. I’d set a target of 3 years to reach 4p, but it looks like with the new interest we’ll get there much sooner than expected!

Remember too, our assets alone are valued at 2.2p with no revenue brought in, this is still massively undervalued!

I’ve only just read the news on this, exciting time considering I never even knew we had an interest in KAT.

Remember the big news is coming in March when we get Bordersley off the ground and commissioned. The sp will jump up once again! Very exciting times!

I can’t believe how much interest this board has had over the last 24hrs. I’ve got the same feeling I had when EUA, BUSH and AMER jumped for the first time. Hopefully it’s a sign of good things to come!

Buff, two things wrong with your comment;

1. I’ve never ramped this share. I’ve no need to because I’ve already planned to hold this share for the 3 years. Ramping or de-ramping now has no relevance to what the sp will be in a number of years time. Unlike yourself I just do a bit of research into a company first, this avoids me getting stung by complete non-starters like FLOW as you did.

2. It’s always been 12 months... Even if they have signed one contract this month. Firstly, it’s only one client and second there’s still going to be no production for 12 months.

Not necessarily, we’ve been carrying out the preparatory works that this $50m was to cover since before August last year. There is the potential that we could go into production without actually having to draw down the $50m. As much as I’d like to sell-up and have the money in the bank, if we go it alone in about 3-4 years the sp will be phenomenal (provided Pd can stay above $1500).

Just looking at some of the interviews again it’s interesting how DS talks about the Kevista sale for $700m and then talks about Monchetundra being larger. I think he’s definitely got his sites on the $1b mark or higher if he’s to entertain a sale.

We’re not going to hear anything either way until we receive confirmation on the flanks being approved. This will have a monumental effect on any offers coming and we won’t head down the production route ourselves until we know what the value of potential offers. It’s just a waiting game for now.

The company never said there was going to be any news in January. They might not find out themselves for another month or two if the Swedish manufacturer is interested in the Stirling engine. It would be a very brave move to give us an update saying it went well too because they would face a huge backlash if later down the line nothing came of it. Just sit back and be patient, no matter what happens it’s going to be another 12 months until we bring in any revenue.

I know a lot of people, especially LTH are frustrated here. However, just look at the progress that has been made in the last 2 years. Bordersley is due to be up and running in March, this should bankroll the rest of MEDs 100MW target. The agreement signed with Balance in Dec is huge for Kibo as the power regen plants can be constructed and commissioned quickly. Once all in place these alone will keep the company afloat. Yes we may have another placing in the future, but I’d expect one at the most. Give it 3 years and this will be a very worthwhile share to be holding.

I’m being selfish but I’m very happy about this sea of red. I want to do a hefty top-up at the end of March and the lower this is the happier I’m going to be. It is surprising the number of sales going through considering we’re due to commence production later this year. With the low capex associated with this project and very minimal shares in issue, this is going to be very profitable once they start releasing divi’s in a few years to come.

I wouldn’t be concerned with the discharge of Planning Conditions just yet. They’re likely to have the majority of conditions discharged already anyway. So long as conditions are discharged prior to practical completion, which I’d like to think they will be satisfied anyway, there shouldn’t be an issue. I work as a QS and it’s something that happens frequently. Plus Planning Departments are often very busy and just don’t have time to review all the information that gets sent through.

As this declining trend looks set to carry on (with intermittent spikes upwards) until we get some big news, I thinks it’s time to have another little top up. The big debate is when we’re likely to get some news. EUA have never been this quiet in all the years I’ve known them, so something big is definitely going on behind the scenes. Question is, do I top up now for a smaller holding or wait for a lower sp but chance “missing the boat”.

Due diligence due to be completed in less than 4 weeks. Even if we don’t end up entering into a JV, we’re still in a very fortunate position. Would be nice to get a little special divi though after a few years of holding in.

It’s surprising what’s happened to the sp. I sold up at 24p a few years ago, thinking it would plateau around that level for while. Have been kicking myself since after seeing it keep rising. Can’t believe it’s come full circle back below 20p again. It’s clear why it dropped, because all everyone was looking forward too was the divi’s, but looks like they’ve opted to expand first before sharing the proceeds. I think it might be time to get back in. Can see in a few years this will be pushing 50p again. The big question is, when to get in and how much further is she likely to drop?

Worried? Myself no, I’ve only got a small holding here of 12m at an average of .032p. Plus, no update was schedule for January. A 3D model was made for a demonstration in January, there’s was no talk of an update.

The company expects to produce its first unit sometime within the next 12 months, that is my only interest.

We’ve all seen how quickly this rises, even with no news whatsoever. It was over just .2p just a couple of months ago and that was purely off the back of someone ramping on EUA’s board. It will happen again, no worries whatsoever.

There’s a lot of misconception that we’ll be expecting news in Jan. They had a meeting scheduled in Jan yes, but don’t expect anything to come out straight away. Realistically we’re more likely to hear bad news sooner than we’ll hear anything good.

The sp is heading back to around the .06p mark. This jump based on a website up and running again was never going to be sustained. Just be grateful that the sp is still so low so you can accumulate. Remember, our chairman is also chairman of Global Investment. Now our product has been finalised, there’s no concern about obtaining funding or potential clientele. We’re in a fortunate position that very few on the AIM are.
