There’s still a high level of risk considering we’ve not actually got the funding yet but it’s nice to know the MED project is worth a considerable amount of money.

I’m just hoping EUA can conclude a sale fairly soon as all my cash is tied-up at moment with the market being in its knees. Would love to throw a couple of grand in here at these prices. Still risky yes, but the potential return far outweighs the risk.

Well it’s looks like MED might have blindsided us all. It’s definitely more valuable than I had suspected. Keep in mind the $100m is funding, so revenue would be significantly higher.

I know the doom and gloomers are saying ‘never going to happen’ etc. Remember, what’s one of the few sectors that is going to remain strong throughout all the recent chaos; sustainable energy / power generation!

Yes, we’re still yet to get a project off the ground but the potential revenue here at KIBO now is running into the billions! Not bad for a £4m current market cap.

We may be sat waiting yet for another few years, but provided we can get our portfolio of projects off the ground, the potential returns will be phenomenal.

To be fair though, what site works are actually required though. I don’t know myself as I’ve not looked that far into it, but I do work as a QS. Just looking at the photos of one of the units, it’s looks like they’re all pre-fab and just placed on a concrete base. From the size of it you’ve got a day of site strip and a day of excavation and concrete pour. The most difficult but is the device connections but even then it’s probably only 2 days on site.

I do think we’ll be late delivering it but the works required on site looks very small indeed.

That £1.8b is in situ value $1600. Our sale price would likely be a third of this, but any buyer will likely be working off Pd prices much lower, probably circa $1000/oz.

It’s hard to imagine anything higher that 10p at the moment without the flanks. I do admit though, I’d be content with anything over 5p at this moment in time. The rest of my portfolio has taken an absolute beating!

EUA being suspended has come as an absolute blessing! Stocks have being plummeting all over the world, we just sit tight with no change and await news of a sale (likely delayed a fair bit now).

One to remember... LTH’s always said EUA would be very profitable even years ago before we had the flanks and Palladium was less than $1000/oz. Now, we’re very near to receiving the flanks licence and Palladium is still significantly higher than $1000/oz.

Even if we didn’t get the flanks and Palladium dropped to about $800/oz, my reply would still be, well we’re in a much better position than we were when I first invested here!

You’re not entitled to an update, you want an update. There’s a big difference between entitlement and impatience. It’s only been a month, it could be a few more yet before we hear anything at all.

Plus, if you can’t survive without it, maybe it wasn’t such a good idea gambling it away on shares...

Vanadium started to have an upturn last month, with recent demand increases before Xmas but demand has plummeted the last 4 weeks, which is starting to show.

It’s only because the price of palladium isn’t currently affecting the EUA sp. Them being suspended is actually a blessing in disguise as it’s the only stock in my portfolio that hasn’t taken a beating the last couple of weeks.

Even IRR’s account for margins, so we’ll be able to produce for lower than $1k/oz anyway. Plus, with the cash from ValOre we’re in a good financial position. That’s the mad thing at the minute because trading isn’t being done on fundamentals and everyone’s just selling off panic whilst they’re either still in the blue or before they’re losses widen (hence my original post). I’m not actually going to sell-up myself. I only got in here last summer and only ever planned review our position in 2022 depending on what progress has been made.

Seeing how much Palladium’s dropped already and is expected to get worse and Vanadium slowly following suit, trying to fight the urge to hit the sell button whilst I’m still in the blue is proving difficult! Feels like I’ve got the breaking point of a Kit Kat at the minute.

Well, we dropped back to 3p, I genuinely thought we were going to fluctuate between 2.5p - 3p and nothing would push us any lower. With every other gold stock plummeting and only expected to get worse, I can’t help thinking we’re going to get pulled back below 1p again

I was lucky enough to get in here at around 1.5p about 4/5 years ago and sold out (rather prematurely) at 20p. In Jan I jumped back in just below 20p thinking we wouldn’t go much lower and now this! Feels like Karma has struck and all of my previous gains are just being reversed back to 1.5p again!

Yeh I had £150 quid sat in my share account so threw it in here at 0.33p. Absolute madness how low the sp is right now!

What’s the actual deal with MED. Am I right in thinking the SDA with Balance is just find suitable land that MED will purchase and then instead of using Balance for the construction we’ve got the JDA with AB for this?

I may be reading it wrong but seems strange that we didn’t do the whole thing under one umbrella with Balance.

TTP is right, all it takes is positive updates on a number of projects and we could very quickly fly back to 5p.

I personally am a little sceptical about anyone that has their finger in ‘a number of pies’ as it shows a lack of direction. Although, the bright side here especially is that we’re not restrained to one countries economics, nor are we just restrained to power or just to gold.

I’ve got a nice enough holding here, but truthfully, I’m hoping we stay around this mark for a little while longer. As soon as EUA is tied-up, I’d like to pick-up another 2M here. KIBO’s a gamble but it has very good potential if everything falls into place.

I’ve given up trying to make sense of the markets. It’s like AAU a couple of weeks back (before the COVID-19 fiasco). The price of Gold has jumped-up, the only had buys that day, but the sp was down near 15%. Is completely mind boggling sometimes.

The site is good to go, with some of the site strip already done by EUA.

The irony is with demand out-weighing current supply, a potential buyer may possibly prefer a deal to drag out as it will prolong them having to spend on capital and at the same time commodity prices will keep increasing.

I know a lot of people are going to hate me saying this, but to be fair to LC the only major blip was MCPP, which was out of his hands entirely.

His ability to get a project up and running is still yet to be proven, but he has got us a decent number of potentially good projects in the pipeline. Provided we can actually get everything up and running, and each are commercially viable, I see no reason why we wouldn’t be pushing the 100p mark or higher in 10 years.

The irony about the whole thing with LC is that everyone (including myself) that is around at the moment will likely be gone if we get up to 10p. Then Future shareholders getting in around 2-5p will be singing LC’s praises and talking how much of a good job he’s done.

I think we should all go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint and wait for all this to blow over...

As Chris said, the highest risk for us is proving oil is commercially viable in general. The US has already proved that it can’t sustain oil below $40 per barrel (5 companys I had shares in went bust during the last Crises about 5 years ago). This alone would balance out supply & demand. The majority of OPEC can’t sustain prices that low either. When it went to $35 a few years back they were holding meeting after meeting begging to reduce supply so prices increase.

If we do find commercially viable oil, this will have all blown over by the time we’re producing.

Does anyone know what sort of revenues Bordersley will bring in?

I knows it’s only small is that £100k or £1m per annum sort of revenues.

Once we have a portfolio of 100 MW i know it will be worth a few quid but with Bordersley only being 5 MW, I have no idea what kind of revenue that would us.
