I was looking through their sites a few weeks ago and was wondering if the majority of ‘ready for Construction’ or ‘under development’ sites are the ones KIBO will be taking over to form the 100MW. It would be a nice little portfolio if this were the case and would mean we wouldn’t have to go through the time consuming period of finding the sites.

My initial £5k was at 5.7p, so I know where you are coming from. Ironically, I bought significantly more shares last week and for a fraction of the price.

The point I was making by ‘sell-up’ was that if people are continuously slating the company & CEO and never think we’ll get anywhere, then what little value they have in now would ultimately be better being withdrawn and used elsewhere than left here to disappear completely.

Ignorance is a little uncalled for, coming from a person that only ever bashes what KIBO are doing. Ultimately, if you don’t believe in what a company is doing then you should sell-up what stock you have and then move on. Unless you yourself are ignorantly holding on to your stock in the blind hope that someday, the company that you dismiss so much will one day make you some money.

As for myself, after holding for quite some time, I have recently managed to average down to 0.35p and built-up a fairly substantial holding in the process. So when this recession is over in the near future and we return to the .40-.50p range, my ‘ignorance’ will have made me a nice little profit.

It’s mad to think anyone that got in at the start of the week has doubled their money already!

The reasons why this is one of the favourite in my portfolio is because the initial capex is very low, mine start-up duration is very short and there’s very few shares in issue. Provided this agreement gets finalised, which is highly likely now it’s legally binding, the chance of future dilution is minuscule! It’s almost too good to be true!

Like David says, Covid-19 has/will have an impact but even so, mine start-up could still happen this year. This is one share I need to fight the urge to sell for 2 years because we could be absolutely flying by then. Fingers crossed.

The big one for us is Palladium, it’s absolutely flying again at the moment!

“Anything above $1300 is just cream” now that’s what you want to hear when Gold has jumped back above $1600! $300 x 18k oz = $5.4m of unexpected profit for this year if things stay as they are.

Another great video once again. Next couple of weeks we should here news of the third party and confirmation of the loan being paid-up in full, then in the next fees months we’ll have updates on the drill programmes and the end of year financials (which we already know are better than originally planned). I think this could finally be the transformational year for both the company and the share price.

They have to say no guarantees but it is very positive to hear the words ‘legally binding agreement’ and ‘non-dilutive’. Southern Gold already have enough cash to cover their end of the bargain, this is near enough confirming our end of the bargain. Obviously Covid-19 will have some effect on kicking things off on-site. However, there’s still a chance of us commencing production by the end of the year. If we can achieve this with the non-dilution and with gold prices still anticipated to keep rising later in the year, we should have surpassed my 10p benchmark.

Always look on the bright side. The company was forced to do a huge U-turn a couple of years ago because they’d put all their eggs in one basket with MCPP. The other projects they’ve got, plus the interest in KAT has boosted the potential massively! Don’t be surprised if we end up with another billion shares on the market in the next couple of years. Once MED gets off the ground in the coming months, things will start changing rapidly.

For now just lock your kibo shares away and throw away the key for a few years.

It’s the jump in oil prices that has done it. You’ll notice that each time there’s a sharp rise or fall in oil prices, there’s usually a rise or fall in metal prices, in this case gold. If oil drops in a couple of weeks as many are expecting, we’re likely to see another drop here again too (if no news has been released beforehand).

I’m actually hoping we do stay low for a little longer myself because I’d like a little too-up in a couple of months time.

Yeh it’s been happening to half of my portfolio as of late. I’ve even had a couple that have just had buys during the day, yet they still dropped 10-15% by market close. I’ve literally given up on trying figure out the markets, no logic whatsoever sometimes.

Stop having a bash at the Directors. They bought us from a 0.45p share to 7p prior to suspending. If you chose to gamble and not sell-up before this point it’s you’re own fault no there’s.

They said they need to clarify their relationship with CITIC, this may not even be possible until CITIC have assisted getting an offer to the table because CITIC’s appointment may purely depend on the size of any bid. If they are working on a sale, don’t expect any communication until a firm offer has been put to the table. Similarly, their comment of ‘updates made shortly’ doesn’t mean anything other. It could be days, weeks, even a couple of years. It’s purely an individuals perception on timescale.

If it’s you desperate for the money too, maybe it wasn’t a good idea investing it... if you can’t afford to lose it, don’t gamble it!

Sorry to be so blunt but the Directors have done an outstanding job so far and shouldn’t be ridiculed just because some people want, want, want all the time!

How we’re not near 10x the current sp is baffling! All Kerim and the team have done for the last few years is bring out positive news after positive news. It’s seems like with the market it’s all just falling on deaf ears!

To be fair, it was only a couple of years ago that they had to drastically change their strategy. On paper there’s been a a lot of positive progress in the last 48 months, more than most others companies make that aren’t currently bringing in revenue. KIBO do have an NPV of near $2b, it’s not bad for a company with a mcap of just £4m!

Don’t expect much to happen in the next 24 months. The years following will be where we start to see a change in the sp.

Reading in-depth about the current oil price issue, we could benefit massively from it later down the line. The Saudi’s can’t cope with prices this low for more than 2 years, the majority of other OPEC members are already screwed and the US is already looking to other industries to bail out Oil and Gas whilst prices are so low.

Provided we don’t end up with another duster, in a year or two we’re likely to go higher than we would have prior to the drop in oil prices. Some will question whether or not PMO can keep afloat for long enough. This shouldn’t make too much difference to us as they would just get bought out worst case scenario.

Fingers crossed we get the drill results we’re all after because in a year or two 88E will be flying!

Just to add...

Gold is still near $200/oz higher than it was this time last year. If it can pick-up again within about 2 months back to around $1700/oz, we won’t be far off profit wise than we were last year now that the loan is paid off.

Depending on how long the current market derailment lasts will be the ultimate decider. We’re fortunate that we can still make a profit at considerably lower gold prices. If the market recovers within the next 6 weeks or so and not many have lost their jobs, they’ll likely be an increased spending on jewellery etc. All this current stocking up on foods and other essentials will mean a big in spending on these items later down the line, meaning a surplus on non-essential goods.

It’s reassuring that it sounds as though business is as usual. Remember, the current gold price is still $200/oz higher than it was this time last year, so at current, we’re on for making more profit than we did in the last 12 months. Fingers crossed gold can hold up above $1400!

The bright side is that a chunk of warrants have been exercised at KAT, so that should hopefully cover a few overheads here too for the next few months.

On EUA no one knows, but it’s likely any sale has been knocked back a bit with the current market situation. I was in at 0.45p, so I’ll be happy with almost any sale price right now. I only actually found KIBO because CS was involved with both, so took a punt here a while back. I’ve managed to average down here over the last year so my average is now about 0.5p. I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’ll be EUA number 2!
