Being a holder of both KIBO and KAT. My fear with KAT is that somehow the funding will dilute the f*ck out of the company. I may be wrong but I’ve watched LC dilute KIBO to death. I actually had faith KIBO was going to make me a huge return until a few weeks back when they tried to consolidate. Now, I believe there’s only one thing that will be able to save KIBO and that’s MAST. Based on the news, Bordersley can’t be far off being commissioned. Then, if LC can somehow secure this funding for the 300Mw of site, that will actually ‘make’ the company. All KIBO’s other projects are too far off commercialisation for the company to survive. I genuinely believe, if MAST doesn’t come good in the next 12 months, we will see the death of KIBO.

Yeh it’s the same with me and the mrs. It’s very rare that we go just because there’s a film we really want to see. It’s usually to get out and do something. Like you, we’ll always get a large popcorn and a drink, no matter how much I begrudge the extortionate prices. I’d much rather pay the extortionate price than sit at home and watch a new film on sky or netflix, which I could do every night of the week anyway.

I actually have a feeling that cinemas are going to be busier than usual once they re-open. The shops were absolutely manic, a lot busier than usual when they opened. Cinemas are some of the first forms of leisure activity to be re-opening, so they’ll likely follow suit. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they get a surge of new business, from people that wouldn’t usually go but decide to go just because it’s something they can finally do. I’ve got a relatively low target price, having been in since sub 40p, but I’m debating holding a bit longer as any news along the lines of cinemas being packed out will likely send the sp soaring.

Spikeyj I’m guessing you’re relatively new to holding EUA shares from your comments. Up until around December they were producing regular updates and tweeting on a weekly basis, obviously you would have known this if you were a long term holder. Since just prior to the suspension they have been extremely quiet, much more than usual. They are clearly intending for news to be kept to a minimum.

It’s nice free advertising for cinemas this. I don’t know if it will have much change on the share price though as CINE already announced it earlier this week.

I just wish I had some spare cash so I could grab another 100k shares whilst the sp is still low. As I same I’m in this for the long haul but it would be interesting to see how the sp reacts both when we get confirmation of financing and again when production commences.

Any potential purchaser will be looking at long term prices of all of the metals involved. You have to remember it was only 12 months ago Pd was around $1300/oz. They can drop just as much as they can rise, look at Vanadium in the last 24 months. It made me laugh when Pd was $2500 and people were doing valuations of sale MT sale prices based off that figure because no company in their right mind would have actually put a bid in based upon that figure.

The price drifting downward will just be people seeing opportunities elsewhere making a quicker return rather than their valuation of the company. It happens everywhere when news slows down. The thing that will get this going again is securing the financing.

I definitely see this as a positive. As you say, possibly for financiers to see a strong backing by the BoD but it’s also good for us PI’s to see the BoD are backing the company further.

I can’t wait until the financing has been secured as the next news after that will be commencement dates. I admit I usually sell-up shortly after production commences as there’s usually a big jump in the sp. Bluebird is different though as I’ve never seen so much potential from a company with so few shares, which is why I want the financing news as the chance of any substantial raising in the future is slim. This could be the first time ever that I’m waiting out for future dividends. Good times ahead.

To be fair I dumped 1M after the dreaded RNS a few weeks back. Rather than lose the whole lot I thought I’ll try and recoup some elsewhere, I’m guessing others are similar and just find it too much of a gamble. You can’t blame the 4M buyers for having a punt though because if this somehow gets going there’s potential for some huge returns for people getting in now. Obviously there’s a huge risk to go with it though.

Sammy, to answer your question:

They only have to RNS things that will lead to a significant movement in the price. As we’re suspended there will be no movement in price, so there’s no obligation. If they provide another general update it may be announced then or if they’re planning on lifting the suspension it may be coupled with some other news beforehand so we go back on to the market on a positive. Effectively, there’s no advantage in them providing an update on it at this point in time.

Considering we have all these revenue streams due to come online over the next few years, starting with Bordersley in the next month or two. I’d be more than happy for the BoD to pay themselves over the average once even half of these projects are up and running. At least that way there’s some incentive to actually get them over the line and it would avoid scandals like consolidating and also increasing the number of issues considerably at the same time.

When you think about it, it’s madness that they tried to consolidate and increase the shares. One or the other you could understand. If they’d just upped the number of shares I wouldn’t have had an issue with either as we’ve got a relatively low number of issued shares in comparison to other many other companies anyway. Trying to do both is practically asking shareholders to make their own holding utterly worthless as they were clearly going to dilute the death out of the share again after the consolidation.

I wouldn’t be too concerned with EUA’s accounts. As we stopped production with the contractor at WK mid-way through the mining season, revenues won’t be much to write home about. I’m anticipating a loss for the year myself. Some will mention the asset value now we have applied for the flanks. However, we’ve always had a relatively low NAV even with an operating WK and 2m oz at MT, so it’s unlikely there will be a dramatic change here either. We may/may not recieve an additional update in the accounts but the accounts themselves are likely to a bit of a let down but we’ve known this since Sept last year.

It does look like they’re aiming for the trial mining route. If they were going for an asset sale or JV, to get a decent deal they would need to prove up the resource significantly in order to get a decent deal.

One things for sure, if they do announce trial mining I’m having a big top-up as it will significantly reduce the likelihood of dilution later down the line.

Ironically I had a rant on the KAT bb this morning (I have holdings in both) because LC has sold off a project worth over $1Billion after costs for $1 million. The money isn’t even upfront either! It’s just mind boggling because they’re in the process of gaining funding to get one project off the ground next year. I just don’t understand why they would get rid of debatably their most valuable asset for next to nothing. I can see KIBO selling-up one of their projects in similar fashion.

I don’t mind if he does sell-off KAT as the two should be independent anyway. One is a mining company, the other an energy company. Theoretically, KAT should take off by the end of the month as LC has said he has 14 parties offering funding for a project and the deadline on how they’re proceeding is the end of the month. Once funding is secured it wouldn’t be difficult to find a buyer for KIBO’s stake.

We should receive news on Bordersley again very soon as we were only a number of weeks off commissioning before Italy were locked down, so there can’t be much work at all remaining. Bordersley is the key for me, when/if this gets commissioned, funding for the rest of MED will become a realisation rather than just a dream.

The Net Smelter is the net revenue after deductions and applies on all products mined. At best I think it would give us about $1M annually. It sounds alright but it’s going to be a few years yet until gain any return on this, by which time we would have had some cash from Blyvoor to complete exploration and bring Imweru into production ourselves.

The Imweru deal does make you question LC’s abilities looking into it further. The deal was announced in Oct. Blyvoor was then announced in Jan. It could be argued that he knew of Blyvoor in Oct, so why would he enter into such a bad deal for Imweru, knowing potential at Blyvoor would bring the company into a near term cash position. It would have been better leaving Imweru to sit there for a few years and keep it on the balance sheet to avoid selling a huge project for so little. On the flip side, he may not have known about Blyvoor. This is even worse as it would have left us with Haneti which is quite a way off production itself, so what was he planning on doing for the next few year..?

I wouldn’t hold your breath for an update. They’re obliged to provide the accounts but not inform shareholders of the date they will be published. They would only have to inform us of an extension if it were to have a significant movement on the share price. Whilst we’re suspended there will be no movement.

We might get lucky and if they do request an extension (if they haven’t already do so), they may provide an update, but it’s unlikely as they’re under no obligation to do so.

It’s just sour grapes from cineplex. It would be interesting to see what loss they have suffered and wish to recover in damages. At least it saves CINE having to take on a huge amount of debt given the current climate.
