I’m torn as to whether or not today’s news is good / bad.

On one hand, the thing I liked most about MNRG was the few shares in issue and the O&G projects position. When the deal goes through, the market is going to be flooded with new shares.

On the other hand, the deal provides another near term opportunity.

Just wondering what the consensus is from others about today’s news?

I don’t know if I’d call it a bargain considering we were at around 0.55-0.60p only 2-3 weeks ago. It’s an interesting share UFO though, the share price has risen so much in the last 6 months or so I’ve been here. Makes you wonder if/when they bring out any phenomenal news, just what will happen to the sp.

I’ve learnt from being in four mining juniors now: BMN, EUA, GGP and most recent UFO, just buy-in around these level and provided you don’t need the cash, just ignore leave it there for a few months or a few years as the case with EUA. I think after the rises this year of quite a few juniors, many people are investing their profits, hoping to find the next one to rise. GWMO is still a bargain considering it’s mcap, it’s just a matter of time. Once it starts moving, I think it will just keep going.

I wanted to INSP through to production. Now, I’m not too sure. If these resolutions aren’t passed, I genuinely believe it would be the end of the company. I just don’t think mr Heminway has the leverage to get them passed, more so after his failed attempt to force the BOD’s hand a few months back.

If we can get the 100% of the mines on favourable, I’d be confident of it hitting 10p fairly soon. It’s long term I’m here for with this one. 5 year production target onwards is 100k ounces. I know I’ve said it before but that’s over £100m after costs. I compare this to our current £21m mcap and it just doesn’t make sense!

I’m surprised people have still been selling so much too though. Everything seems to be going in the right direction at the moment for TOOP.

Just wish all my money wasn’t tied-up elsewhere because I’d like to have a big top-up here whilst the share price is still so low.

Things may not be concluded be 30th November, but I’d like to think we’ll have received some news before then. More so because an AGM will be required for authorisation of the move.

I wouldn’t be too disheartened if time starts ticking along either. AAU were having due diligence on some of their assets that got extended about 6 times over something like a 10 month period, but in the end a good deal was struck. Same could happen here.

I’d done the same but with a top-up. I only originally had a small holding here. I bought in over there in April around 0.085p, so was sitting on a 30 bagger there on Friday. Didn’t want to take all my profits out incase it somehow kept rising, but decided to sell half and top-up a few ‘sleeping giants’ that I’m already in. GWMO being one of them.

Dickie, I bloody hope you’re right and it goes to 6-7p. I only need about 8.5p for this to be 100 bagger! Originally I had a few years in mind until it got there, but the last two weeks it’s been rocketing, so who knows.

Decent rise today, it was only up 20% when I saw it earlier, now it’s double that. Can’t help but think this will worth a decent amount in the not so distant future.

We’ve had a huge rise over the last 6 month from 0.08p to today’s peak of around 2.5p. Strangely today lots of new faces have popped-up, with people saying ‘2000% by Christmas’ or ‘guaranteed 10 bagger from here’...

Baffles me why some people wait for a share to hit its peak, after a huge rise, before they buy-in. Then start saying its going to make loads of money. It’s a very odd investing strategy some people have. Might just be me, but buying at the top of a spike when the mcap is multiples of the NAV, just doesn’t seem logical.

Same here, 2.5p was a 30 bagger for me. Sold half, gonna leave the other half a couple of years and see where this goes.

To be fair to Shaun, I was actually wondering this last week and the mcap was half of what it is today. The share price has rocketed in the last 6 months from 0.08p to today’s 2.5p. Whilst I’m not complaining, I do admit I haven’t seen any spectacular news that would have warranted such a rise in its mcap. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks and whether or not the the rise we’ve had lately holds up.

Ironically I just took a little profit out of UFO, put £500 in a few different places, one of which was a top-up here. I’m getting a nice little holding here by grabbing a a few 100k shares each time.

I was looking at BRES not long ago. I may be wrong but it just seemed like they’re too far away from production at the moment, so would likely face some dilution in the next couple of years before things get moving properly.

If you’re looking at potential near-term big movers with a similar rise, I’ve got my money on SRES, GWMO and KRS. All 3 still have ridiculously low share prices but are aiming for, or just started in KRS’s case, first production very soon. Obviously DYOR.

I don’t see a takeover anytime soon as you can tell Rolf wants to build an empire!

I admit I particularly like that we’re on the main market so dilution is severely restricted compared with some companies. Once more news comes in from Gold Ridge, I’m confident this will start flying.

I will have 30 bagged already in 6 months. Gotta love the AIM, haha.

After BMN a few years ago, EUA last year, GGP and UFO this year. My new strategy to investing is just through a couple of grand into any mining junior when they’re at rock bottom and hope for the best!

Yeh it’s crazy considering we were at about 0.08p only 6 months ago! I’m regretting not putting a lot more here before we started rising. Ah well it’s been a good ride, here’s to the next 6 months :D
