RE: I'm Astonished Theres No Informed Sell Prices From Posters6 Oct 2020 07:32
Mug, the fact is that nobody knows and it’s all complete guess work.
When we were sat at 0.5p and the flanks news got released, people were saying ‘wow, one day we could be worth 10p’. A month later (last Oct) when the sale news was first announced officially, people were doing valuations coming out to 20p now. Roll on the release of AFC’s broker note on EUA’s website in Feb (now taken down), and people start saying ‘omg we could bring in as much as 60p!’. During suspension, out of nowhere 100p sale figures started being thrown around. Roll on a few months later and now the average ‘guess’ is £1.59, which is a whopping $5.69billion.
Fact of the matter is, nothing has changed resource wise since the flanks news 12 months ago and people were guessing at 10p (which assumed we’d get the licence). It’s complete and utter guesswork.
The only thing that we know for sure was Dmitry’s comment about the BoD bench marking MT against the sales of NAP ($7.54b) and Kevista ($7.12b). He mentioned the BoD did believe MT is worth more than these but not how much more. Kevista was a working mine with a considerable resource and went for what equates to circa 20p/share for ourselves. NAP, another working mine but smaller than MT. How much more the BoD believe MT is worth than these two, or more so how much more other companies will bid for it, nobody knows.
