How many cars can Tesla produce, and how many cars are currently on the road? Google the answers to those questions and it very quickly becomes apparent that its going to take a very long time!

A couple of things on SLP. They are only involved with PGMs, which aren't a fashionable investment at the moment. And their cost price per Oz is a lot higher than we're achieving at Hernic.

A combination of our low lost processes and diversifying in to a range of other metals should set us apart, imo.

But some progress soon at Kabwe would be helpful! Until then we're still primarily a PGM producer which it would seem few want to invest in no matter how low our costs are.

mcmac, just saw you post. Yes agree with your comments on Platcro PGMs, will take a while to ramp up so not expecting much (if anything) this quarter.

Don't really see point of looking at the 5 year graph to be honest. It was a very different company 5 years ago, and was only in the very early stages of creating this strategy, with pretty much all the attention on Tjate.

Looking forward to this quarters figures though, its very realistic that we could see a minimum earnings of at least £2.5m from Hernic and DCM (up from 2.17m in Q4), plus £1m new earnings from Platcro Chrome (which we have been told currently generates £4.3m earnings a year).

That would give £3.5m for Q1, up about 177% from the same quarter last year. And I think that's a pretty conservative estimate if the figures we've been given for platcro are reliable.

Vog, they do appear to me to have been showing real earnings growth each quarter.

Q4 2018 - earnings up 13% to £2.17 million
Q3 2018 - earnings up 8% to £1.78 million
Q2 2018 - earnings up 31 % to £1.65 million
Q1 2018 - earnings up 4 % to £1.26 million

And during that time DCM has been having a negative effect on those earnings. Now with the fine chrome circuit complete, it will be contributing positively to the earnings. In addition, we have Platcro Chrome for this quarter, platcro PGMs starting this month, and further increases from Hernic possible.

Not sure what else you can expect really. We've been seeing increasing production, revenue and earnings quarter on quarter for quite some time now, operational costs are now being met from earnings, and looks very likely that we can expect quarterly increases for a while longer just from current projects. Not many junior miners with a similar MCap can claim that. Most just spend their time raising funds from placings to drill a few holes and pay directors, while not actually doing anything constructive to create a viable business.

Plus Kabwe still to come with Lead, Zinc and Vanadium, and earnings will quite possibly dwarf all the current operations combined.

When thinking about the effect of the timezones and what can happen where, it can be as complicated as you want it to be.

But also really simple, we'll get news released in London as soon as possible for it to be released.

Only really a problem if your entire investment strategy is based on trading a very short market overreaction to any piece of news (good or bad), and you'll worried a different market where you can't trade will have that overreaction first. In which case investing in dual listed stocks across time zones probably isn't advisable!

Just to point out, the RNS today was released 35min ahead of the ASX announcement - 7am GMT for our RNS and 6.35pm (7.35am GMT) in Sydney for the ASX announcement.

It most probably all comes down to what time it is in Aus when the news is ready, and which market is open first to determine the order of releases.

Thinking further forward to farmout news, and supposing that its with a Houston based company, another time zone comes in to play, with Houston 6 hours behind us, 14 hours behind Perth, and 17 hours behind Sydney.

The effect of that means the end of the working day in Houston is the start of the working day in perth, mid morning in Sydney and the middle of the night here.

So most probably Aus will get the news whilst we're asleep, (unless it takes DW all day to write up the announcement).

Brom, all the ones you've listed look to be active on a daily basis to me. Well, active in the sense that they all put up bid and ask prices.

Looks promising, but doesn't mean that drilling has started. They need to set up once they've reached the right location, although this rig is supposed to be quick to set up, so maybe an update tonight/tomorrow if it has started.

Good point 34Deg, there's going to be larger capacity facilities around that are producing much more. But will one of those let us in on our first venture into copper/cobalt?

It may also depend on just what the plan is. The latest presentation describes it as a new copper/cobalt waste recovery approach, which suggests we're targeting another tailings project rather than run of mine material. In which case it doesn't really matter what the current processing capacity is, the quantity/quality of the tailings in situ will be most important.

Just looking back at previous drills, the history suggests that a late afternoon/evening kick-off is preferred, with an RNS to follow the next working day. If the same pattern is followed, then likely to be an RNS on Monday. Unless of course they start ahead of schedule this evening (alsaka time), in which case we might find out tomorrow morning.

In terms of success what's more important? 1. getting a flow test result that most average investors vaguely understand, or 2. getting the technical data that industry experts in the data room would understand and require to make an assessment of the potential and how much to invest on further exploration?

I'd suggest the later is more important and a better gauge of success at this stage. Until we have news of the HRZ farmout, we don't really know how successful (or not) Icewine 2 was.

If only we had some big news coming up shortly, such as a farmout with a major covering a couple of billion barrels, that could quickly improve things around here.

And then if we had a second farmout on the cards to follow shortly afterwards that covers a further couple of billion barrels, there could be some real FOMO occurring with all the speculators piling in for our second farm out of the year.

Someone should write to DW and tell him that's the plan we need.

Oh wait a minute.... That plan is already in motion :)

Also news of the next project to look forward to as well as kabwe. There's been hints of copper/cobalt for a while now, and there is now an indication that we have developed a new approach for copper recovery. Only question mark seems to be where and when that will be put into action. Somewhere around kitwe looks to be a strong possibility.

I suspect that the muted market reaction to the last few updates has something to do with it. Strictly speaking, much of the info that has been released in the last few updates hasn't really been newsworthy imo (although is of interest to many of us investors).

Maybe a change of tack from DW is the result, and further updates will now be made only for significant milestones such as drilling started, target depths reached, first oil shows etc
