RE: What is the end game?4 Jun 2025 09:45
As much as i dont have a clue of whats happening behind the scenes if anything and so far all indicators are its not good for us retail investors. I have to say the last few days have been blatant manipulation and it makes me want to do something about it. Join me in putting the pressure on FCA. I will be seeking legal advice too now as there is only so much one can take on this investment.

Subject line: Report of Suspected Market Manipulation in THG PLC Share Price
Dear FCA Market Conduct Team,
I am writing to formally report concerns regarding potential market manipulation of the share price of THG PLC (ticker: THG.L), a constituent of the FTSE 250 index.
Summary of Observations:
Unusual Share Price Movement:
On Monday, 2 June 2025, THG's share price increased from 24.14p to 26.68p.
On Tuesday, 3 June 2025, it further rose to 27.90p.
These movements represent a cumulative increase of approximately 16% over two days.businesscloud.co.uk
Significant Trading Volumes:
Trading volumes were notably high during this period, with over 21 million shares traded on 3 June 2025, compared to the average daily volume of approximately 6.5 million shares.
Timing with FTSE 250 Review:
These price and volume surges coincided with the FTSE 250 index review period, where THG's inclusion was uncertain due to its declining market capitalization.
The sudden increase in share price and volume appears to have secured THG's position in the index.
Subsequent Price Decline:
Following the confirmation of THG's retention in the FTSE 250, the share price declined significantly, suggesting the prior surge may not have been driven by fundamental factors.
Concerns:
The pattern of trading activity raises concerns about potential market manipulation aimed at influencing THG's inclusion in the FTSE 250 index. The lack of any significant public news or corporate announcements during this period further supports the suspicion that the price movements were not based on underlying company performance.
I urge the FCA to investigate this matter to ensure the integrity of the UK financial markets is maintained.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
