Hi reso, i was one of the people on this board challenging you many moons ago on why you sold even if everything was looking well and the company looked on track to become profitable. I'm still baffled how this all played out even if I never liked CH and his unprofessional way of working. Lost a lot of money here. Given that this played out the way you expected, could you maybe share what put you off at some point to decide to get out and never look back? Feel free to also direct message me if you don't want to discuss here. Would truly appreciate to get your insights and hopefully learn from it.

Lefty, good to see you are becoming a regular poster on this bb... hope to see more of you over the next 3 months as we are getting into a news rich period, but I guess you will become somehow busy once we get to the drill. We shall see...

Lefty is bitter because he recently sold most of his holding with the intend to buy back in cheaper... considering the spread, he probably will need to buy back at a higher price even with a placing in between. Maybe, just maybe he NOT the trade guru he wants to be...
Monarch
Leave Lefty alone...he is the master of investing.
While he has traded it for a couple of hundred pounds, others sit on Millions of shares on a free float and profit from when it went from 0.35 to 3.8p. Certainly a good T-line...
Hope all is well...

stockdale, I know what you were trying to refer to. However I disagree on your "promises and optimistic language" wording. The other CEO has dramatically damaged shareholder value with his childish and unprofessional behaviour, something Dave Wall has too much integrity to get to such a low level. You have responsibilities as the CEO of a company, and so far DW has done just fine on that end.

I haven't posted here in a while (other then giving Lefty a hard time) but want to give some perspective at what has happened with 88e over the last couple of years.
I originally invested into the idea of the possibility of a large (huge) oil discovery in Alaska, a place known for oil and a government helping to get it out of the ground rather than opposing it. I invested at .63 and soon found myself down to .35 over Christmas which wasn't what I wanted. It took a while and I actually was out the day of the 1st results so couldn't really sell, de-risk or get crazy. I kept my composure and finally de-risked at 3.65 and took also some profit while still keeping 8M shares on a free ride. Boy, did I feel great. I looked at my trading account every day and thought about selling all and just find the next investment but continued to believe in the discovery and promised myself to ride it out.
Long gone are the days of a sp north of 3.0+, yet here we are, having a partner who equally sees the potential of the discovery and put his money in to make it happen. Unfortunately oil in Alaska is a VERY slow moving business and there are days on which I wish I had just moved on, yet I'm here still believing in the project as it makes a lot of sense and waiting for the next 6 months (once again) to see the results from the next drill. Will it be this year for the conventional? and what about the unconventional? Will 2019 still be transformational or is finding the partner for this drill already the transformation we all should be happy about? I don't know... all I know is there is oil in the ground and Dave must start t get it out of the ground, one way or the other. Here is hope...

Lefty, good for you that health and other companies make up for your loss at 88e. After all, you must be down a bit here now. Or have you sold out as the T-line must not be in your favour anymore, right? Oh well, hindsight...

So Dan the man must have put his Millions in by now, right? I mean, why wouldn't he? What's the " And these fookers are targeting “a 3x return on 0.25p initial investment”" line all about? 3 times of 0.25p investment is either 0.75p or 1p...the sp is currently at 1.15p...does that mean they are currently selling? A lot of BS (as usual) from Dan the man.
BTW, I'm invested...but don't want to see this "fooker" anywhere near my investment!

Yeah right. 1st, those 2 are muppets. 2nd, within 4 hours of CJ asking where this is going, BD has confidential info in his hands. 3rd, If truly so, BD would NEVER share this on Twitter. 4th, did I mentioned they are muppets.

The best news is ages with this share! At least we don't need to listen to his mumbling in interviews anymore... A complete disaster you have done here, Colin. You should truly reflect on what you have done to shareholders here with your empty promises, stupid comments not worth a CEO salary and the other numerous fails you had in your time as the leader of AST.
