I wonder if this story and the protest outside ABF's AGM will dent sales at cheap and nasty Primark. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/retailing/article5291519.ece How grotesque to pay £19.16 a month (7p an hour) in Bangladesh so that the UK can be pumped full of semi-disposable garments.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article5289707.ece This grand project keeps progressing. Go-ahead on any large public works should be good for Costain SP plus I think that they are in the frame to get some work out of this.
I don't mind at all. I'm not one of those who say "don't post unless you have good news"! Mind you, I believe that these are trading at a much greater discount to NAV than 49%, as per my figures below and market cap now languishing at 2.4bn.
It reads a bit like a 419 scam, doesn't it? Dear so and so, I am a solicitor here in my country which has been ravaged by terrible leaders for many years. I am on the board of trustees and just want to find a way to free funds in excess of $millions from our banking system. I will share these with you 50/50...
NAV: £11.6bn "Our average lease lengths are 13 years, with only 4 per cent up for renewal in the next three years." "like-for-like rental income was 4.2 per cent higher than in the same period of 2007, beating industry benchmarks of 3.5 per cent growth" http://business.scotsman.com/industry/British-Land-assets-shed-1.4712345.jp
I was in those last 7 entries, how was I wrong?
passing 150.
My limit order for 5000 at 126p looked cheeky when I placed it ages ago with the price up at 190p. Deal just dealt at 125.999p.
That wouldn't be enough for Robin1. He bought at 2p and wouldn't sell at £5. No wonder he is still holding ten years later - only has himself to blame.
You say that TRT are involved in more than cars. I know that but I understand that cars are the main market for their technologies. Would you care to expand on the chunk of text that you posted because although the term OEM (original equipment manufacturers) does not give much away, it sounds like suppliers in the auto industry.
