I wouldn't call devastation of the Texan coast "luck" but I take your point. The oil price currently reflects close to no impact from Ike, or any other hurricanes in the next month. Oil has really come off red-alert and there will probably not be any of the hysteria that we have almost become used to. However, I do think that oil will stay above $90 per barrel and that makes DGO cheap right now.

Sage, oh I do, I like the banks. Flint, I have been looking at DGO a lot today and their price was at this level with oil at $70. One news article http://www.gulfnews.com/business/Oil_and_Gas/10239392.html tells how Dragon will no longer seek to lock in the price of oil but be fully exposed to it. I like this. If investors want to reduce risk and reward they can do that by selecting an appropriate portfolio and as the co. Chairman said, they never did well out of paying a third party to fix their price. I have done well with DGO before and thought it was now well followed but it really seems overlooked at this price... while SMDR, PFC and others are doing okay.

If you want some, try shorting this rubbish. We may have today witnessed the start of the end of LSE. Remember when the fax nmachine was new and the Royal Mail went on strike, uptake of faxing as a viable alternative to mailing took off. Several companies set up their own courier systems between offices. Royal Mail, when it came back on-line was no longer dealing with the same volumes. Demand was not inelastic and discontinuity of service had forced people to try alternatives that they ended up adopting. Today people have tried alternatives to LSE and they may like them better.

Correct, that was the reason I bought these, although they have many other very profitable projects going on that support the current price.
