I think we will soon see this at 80p or higher. The new management team is thrashing out the changes, resulting in figures that caused disappointment for some. Buy in now for good dividends and a solid investment. Oh and DYOR, as they say.

Do you think that perhaps human rights and foreign relations concerns, (highlighted in run up to the Olympics) are harming how people view investment in China? Investing in Russia has cooled a bit as oil majors have had their fingers burned by local authorities. I think that Yuan/Renminbi is on the up while GBP may stay low or slide further. For this reason I like a GBP denominated investment in China.

I used to think that utilities and supermarkets were a good defensive investment - CNA, BT.A and SBRY suggest that I am wrong.

I know you were only saying transport as an example but fuel costs and the reluctance or inability to pass them on to the consumer mean that hauliers, ferry co's and airlines are doing badly.

Similarly, I bought at 15p post-suspension so was chuffed when it shot up to 31p. I sold all for 28p.
