I’ve added to my SAGA holding this morning. Travel sector will bounce soon enough . I’ve got a short break booked pre Xmas for a few days in the sun, pcr test on return in airport with results in 24 hours… take advantage of the Share prices & the travel bargains while you can imo.

I’ve read the negatives on here today regarding pcr tests.. it’s not a big deal for anyone who likes to travel. Last month I returned from Barbados and dealt with the testing ok, and the week before Xmas I’m off to the Canary Islands for a few days, very cheap travel and 2 day pcr testing in Luton airport terminal on day of return, results in 24 hours or less.if the travel sector gets an ar$e kicking again this week I’ll load up and the return on profit will certainly cover all my travel plans for next year. GL people with your choices.

Christmas cancelled.... again?.....I'm an Existential nihilist.... I find it helps with my share dealing on days that dip!

This time last month we were at £3.15.... it'll have to bounce back at some point... I suppose its too much to ask for a santa rally? so the kids will have to be content with last years playdoh and an empty cardboard box....

I’m also a long suffering Metro holder- It was 50/50 & a big shame it didn’t happen with Carlyle this time- hopefully Dan can sort that one out for us…..£3?
As for saga- I normally do well on this, so hopefully by Spring ‘22 it’ll be back over £4….. I try not to get drawn into the daily swings anymore.

I think the SP dip is purely down to the whole travel sector getting an arris kicking. The Insurance side speaks for itself & is strong, It’ll rebound soon enough, we may have to wait a few months for a serious recovery- back to the £3.50+ area- but history shows this Share price moves up quickly when they let it go.
When I buy a share I try to remind myself to ignore the small daily swings and hang in there for the bigger picture- a lot can happen when you hold a good share for 3-6 months… Gl people.

Thanks Banburyboy… nice to be back. The last time I was here it moved quickly from £3.20 to £3.90…… I’m hoping lightening may strike twice!

Games have started. A bit of fishing on the dips and a few opportunists in the mix. If you can be bothered there’s probably a few quid to play the minor swings over the next 2 weeks- but as we get closer to Dec 2nd it’ll be time to sit on your hands as it unfolds. £3 in my book…. But I have no idea what Dan can get us…. £1.95 would net him almost £3 million on his share purchase of 59p last November…. Niiice work!

sadanby001...... what its worth and and what offer Carlyle stump up will be 2 different values... the bod have told shareholders to do nothing..... What does that tell you?

I'm just passing by and saw the thread...... add to the list- Giant Haystacks.... but a special mention for an old customer of mine and Polish wrestler - JOHNNY CZESLAW.... born in 1928 he had a life story to tell- really nice fella.

The city knows before we do.... when Odey closes up shop on metro and crawls back into his cesspit then we know we have a quality bid on its way, but obviously by then the SP will have reacted. This time last year we were 80p, and no bids were forthcoming then. Am I kidding myself thinking we should be £500m mcap, hopefully not-the £1.40 we hit last week was my break even figure- so £500m will be just shy of £3...... is that too much?
One final point- Dan was clearly brought in to pave the way for a buy out- I just hope he can pull it off this time round or we will be back under a quid.
3 weeks and we'll know.

my earlier post doesnt make sense! haha I'm cracking up.... The point I was trying to make.. Net Asset Value per Share is 10.86p... and yet we have a SP stuck around 8.50p....... just saying... ok back to the drink

after 2 years+ of this..... been here since pre feckin covid! and averaging down for what seems like a lifetime... I'll be happy to be out as soon as Carlyle or any one of Verns old mates stump up the cash....We knew it would eventually happen- just hope the bod dont sell us out too cheaply. Minimum £500mcap in my book for a nice xmas!

robs12..... thanks for update. I have a few hundered thousand in wte- and a larger cash amount in eco..... Am I mistaken in thinking wte are currently valued under nav 10p??....if so, we dont often see that nowadays.......
