The Namibian government is planning to make an announcement next week on the details of the discovery at the Graff-1 well which Shell started drilling last month, according to two of the sources.

The well results have so far shown at least two reservoirs containing what one of the sources described as a significant amount of oil and gas.

According to a second source, the drilling results have shown one layer at least 60 metres deep of hydrocarbons, holding an estimated 250 to 300 million barrels of oil and gas equivalent.

Sainsbury’s results today were good and I’d expect Tesco to outshine them tomorrow. I sold some SBRY and added to my holding here. This should break £3 and hopefully we’ll get close to broker targets this year… (although brokers targets are generally way off!)

Disappointing drop in SP, back down level with TSCO. I hold both but have more here...at the moment. Hopefully some good results for xmas trading across the board will come....and not the usual doom about lack of supply and stock shortages....

The stockmarket is so frustrating..... When I buy at an historic low I expect to double my money by lunchtime, and I expect to sell at the very top, ready to buy back in at the bottom again by close of playtime..... Come on people- this is a long hold for the best results- have a bit of patience on this one.

I was reading an article from the money expert Lewis about the FCA ruling....." the money-expert has no guarantee of how firms will tackle the rule change his guess is that they won’t just cut renewals to match newbies' prices.He said: “They'll drop 'em somewhat, and increase new-customer rates - meeting towards the middle.
“Don't think savings by switching will end totally though. Different insurers will still have different prices - and new entrants will try to disrupt the market - but savings will likely be smaller.”

My personal take is that Insurance has always been a cash cow, I can't see the FCA ruling rocking the boat too much.
