Dilution can have a positive or negative impact on the value of the shares you hold Negative or Positive. Zulu and it's wonderful minerals, SFA achieved nowhere near a Jorc compliant report just a silly picture of a man with a core on his head, MNH a million $ and a plan to achieve 10,000tpm by Dec 19, SFA achieved as actually goes backwards at 4,500tpm from 5,500 tpm, tailings to be analysed in SA back on Jan, SFA achieved, a load of plant to make short journey to do some digging, SFA achieved as it still isn't there, an EPO nudge nudge wink wink from the last Imbada, SFA achieved.
So Mal with your big motor mouth and SFA all else which part of the aforementioned SFA would you like to discuss?

Very happy with this dilution, yes. To say we’ve not been diluted is just daft I’m afraid. This is why you cause so many problems, we’ve been diluted but just as frequently that leads to a loss in value of an individuals holdings this time it hasn’t. That’s good but you’ve still been diluted as your % of the overall no of shares has gone down and because of the deal structure unless you get additional shares or price drops to 5.5 there is naff all you can do about it. Dilution is nothing to do with the value of your holdings pre or post that is a different matter.

Honestly stick to your forte, the science. We’ve been diluted, dilution can be good or bad depending upon sentiment, ie how the market perceived it. You can mitigate the degree of dilution by taking part in the rights issue as I will be doing so but I’m still diluted. However I do expect those shares I’ll buy at 5.5p to be worth many times over in due course and believe that will be my last ever opportunity to buy at that price. It’s good so please don’t spoil it by saying we’re not diluted when we are. For once on AIM this is a good dilution .....,., if the BoD now deliver operationally

Lots of post as to whether we been diluted or not. Well, obviously your personal shareholding as a % of the whole has gone down so yes we've been diluted. However, there are steps we can take to mitigate the level of dilution through taking part in the raising and / or buying in the open market at prevailing prices (there is a tendency to drift towards placing price but not necessarily always). So for example if tomorrow we suddenly appeared on the vaccine site with matched funding from government then not a chance will the price go anywhere near 5.5p so the ability to maintain your respective % would go out of the window . So on a strict % of the whole basis you're diluted as the % we can buy under the issue isn't the same % we as a whole held yesterday and if the price doesn't go down to 5.5p it's going to cost you more than the other other parties to maintain or increase your %.

From a commercial perspective my view is this is a good deal, it gives us the firepower to prove the science in a format the market desires (trialled results from a large enough random sample trial). My only negatives are it should have been done several years ago but that can't be changed and we are relying on the same people who didn't do it years ago (financing deal) to deliver. Let's hope they are more efficient at Operations than they WERE (note past tense) at Financials. Hopefully Vulpes and RM will ensure Financials are sorted moving forward and will oversee Operations to ensure they happen when should, are completed on time and on budget. It's all about sentiment now for the foreseeable future

Mal - perpetuate a campaign against yourself and other holders? All I've done since my first Corporate Governance post is question the ramping brigades interpretation of information and basic understanding of facts. The share price and lack of activity over the last few years tends to suggest the market agrees with me.
Perhaps if the company delivered what it was meant to do and when it said is was going to and for the price it said it would do it for then things may be different. Perhaps if you are looking for the cause of the campaign as you call it your ire would be better directed at the people (BoD) who control these things.
So on facts, 72M yesterday looked like and based on today's activity was a sell despite the ludicrous worked buy BS earlier today.
Currently we have a whispering campaign of good things round the corner but that's all we have and previous (repeated often) experience of these times is a fluff RNS follows with general working capital sentence in it somewhere.
You may buy at this juncture but I've stated I'm not for these reasons and others, it's not a campaign against anyone other than the paranoid.

C7 - short as on way out for an hour or so. They've loaned us £6.2M (net £6M so £200K gone in fees / other). Now we can pay them back or they can covert loans to shares at 6.2p to tune of £6.2M.

Yep RW, you've confirmed why some of us hold the view. One or two of us have probably done commercial deals into 7 figures before so I'm not the only one who will tell you if that's a BoD's response they shouldn't be a BoD. It was achievable back then as it is today. Seriously, the amount involved isn't that big, by the way the £6.2M turned into £20M 6 years later, the funder was sold a good story and exit route and they got it, it happens every day of the week.

Whilst a commercial deal would be a nice bonus in the near future, inclusion in the public sector money printing press schemes and matched funding is possibly / probably the one to keep an eye out for first. Hopefully, now this is out of the way we can progress that route very quickly.

The main issue was the one that occurred in 2013 and having no back up plan Inn. Don't get me wrong the science side has always looked strong but the commercial side is questionable. When I raised that question in 2013 I had just raised £6.2M from PE, here we are 7 years later for just over twice the amount but with a share price under 10p. Since that time, I could have quite easily put together a small group of UNHW's to whom £15M isn't really a great amount. Now think on where the science and trials would be with that sort of firepower 7 years ago.

Inn - not too sure you can say it's a ridiculous statement. I'm the gentleman at the 2013 EMA AGM who suggested we raise the money then when the share price was in the 40's or even 50's. The response if you can remember was no need because a deal was being done. I'm happy where we are with today's announcement but IMHO commercial progression over the last few years has been woefully poor and has cost most of us dearly unless one has traded over the period.

macgerry - quite correct about young demographic however it is countered by far higher co-morbidities such as HIV and a far poorer health system so a null effect. Speak to some hospital people in the Eastern Cape and they are bricking themselves as already creaking at the seams and it hasn't even started there yet.
