Given the last couple of weeks here I can but imagine how this might react to a positive BU from the field trials and also progress in DU development. Life is rarely that straight forward, I expect bumps in the road, and risks are still in play, but the short to medium term here really does look fascinating. Time, as always, will tell. GLA LTH.

If we can get a positive BU focusing on the developing position with the field trials in China, then I am inclined to agree that we could easily see £1 within three months. Of course, if those trials have been delayed for any reason, or haven't gone as well as hoped, then the picture could be very different. I'd just like to have some indication. Time will tell. Whilst I don't disagree with your sentiment TL, the initial statement hasn't moved the share price and the numbers you quote may or may not be accurate. Ultimately, any confirmation of the volumes involved in this particular arrangement will begin to appear in the accounts for 2021 which will be released in June of 2022 I suspect. Clearly, there will have been developments in what the business is doing and how the various projects have progressed or otherwise, all of which gives shareholders an indication as to the short/medium term prognosis for cashflow and profitability. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not questioning the future of this company but I am absolutely, as a shareholder in excess of 1%, wanting a progress update which I genuinely don't consider to be inappropriate. It has, after all, been well over a quarter since the last one. Just saying is all. GLA LTH.

As welcome as last weeks RNS was/is, ultimately it is simply ratification and detail on something that was contained in the December 2nd RNS projections of revenue uplift (accelerated or otherwise). Given that the BU RNS was issued over four months ago now, in what is generally accepted as a fast moving arena and a rapidly developing business, I would like to see a business development update sooner rather than later. As I have said previously, I would expect the board to have management information on how things are progressing or otherwise on the various fronts being pursued and I don't consider this to be an unrealistic expectation. Granted, they may want to get Thursday (remuneration EGM if memory serves) out of the way and, yes, we can speculate that they may be holding off for something major, but in my experience that is rare in the extreme. Happy to be proven wrong though! All IMO and time will tell. GLA LTH.

Hi Dallo, I am hoping for a TU/BU in the next couple of weeks to give the market an indication as to how things are progressing on the various fronts the business is working on. There hasn't been anything in the round since December 2nd and shareholders need to be brought up to speed particularly on where things are with the field trials, what the overarching position is with regards to ACE-NIC development, not to mention the year end numbers. Don't get me wrong, yesterday's little gem was welcome and will form part of the current years income improvement and, dare I say it, monetisation of some of the company's IP, but, I agree, if this business is to get a leg up with regards the share price, it needs to bring the market up to speed with developments. Of course, that could also be less positive if things aren't moving as quickly as some would like. Time, as always, will tell. GLA LTH.

Hi TL, I'm more than happy to listen to all opinions on this but I could respond by saying that the board didn't know about the forecasted 2021 revenue uplift because it was/is subject to confirmation of customer orders which, frankly, could be zero in the same way as you mention the ACE-NIC business could be. I should be clear and state that I don't expect it to be zero but, as with all things in life, time will tell. GLA LTH.

Hi UHLF - I partly agree with what you say, however, in the Dec 2nd RNS the forecasted 2021 uplift in revenues is caveated by saying that it is "subject to customer confirmations of order volumes". There are other areas of the RNS that are caveated as well (which is entirely normal practice). My point here is that, in the paragraph regarding 2021 anticipated revenue, ACE-NIC business is specifically excluded. It isn't forecasted with caveat, or estimated in any way. I just wonder why. I understand the arguments about 'well they don't know where it will ultimately go' and 'it could be anything' and 'the orders haven't come in yet' etc etc but, actually, they didn't know what the forecast revenue was going to be for 2021 because it was/is subject to confirmation of customer orders as stated above. It just piqued my curiosity is all. GLA LTH.

Hi UHLF - Mysterious because, IMO, the company gave a very positive update on revenue streams, increase %ages for both 2020 and expected for 2021, and whole raft of other information and yet one of the company's primary product lines was deliberately excluded from those projections and pointedly so as per the Dec 2nd RNS. I just find that curious and have said so on a number of occasions since. I can't be persuaded that the board didn't have some idea of where that product line was headed either at that time or, indeed, as we have come into the current year. In fact, I cant really see how the picture would not have become clearer as the last quarter has progressed. I have been on boards in the past and MI of that sort has been of paramount importance. Having said all that, it will be one of three scenarios - good, bad, indifferent. GLA LTH.

I am hoping for a business and trading update in the near term as we are now at the end of Q1. On the assumption that the expected larger scale field trials for the ACE NIC have now been underway for some time (Dec 2nd RNS - "Testing of ACE-NIC100 fully integrated within 5G deployment - selected over two major SmartNIC competitors' offerings. Larger scale commercial field trial now expected in 2021."), I would expect the company to have some sort of indication as to where things are with those either good, bad, or otherwise. It would also be helpful to have something to indicate what the year end numbers are likely to look like or else we will be waiting until June time for the accounts as per last year. I added a few more recently in the hope that the mysteriously excluded (from the Dec 2nd RNS) ACE NIC business turns out well as opposed to poor! Time will tell as always. GLA LTH.

Or maybe no news has been forthcoming because the company is waiting to assess the (excluded from the 9th December RNS) ACE NIC business. Having said that, of course, there was news on February 9th about the server vendors. Patience is a commodity not generally available these days. GLA LTH.

These things happen. Share prices go up and down, sometimes for the most curios of reasons. Ultimately, no-one knows why another person sells or, indeed buys, but on the face of it, nothing has changed here over the last four months in terms of the business case, inherent risks, and potential for returns. Personally, I am hoping for an update early in Q2 which, IMO, is a respectable time period from the update that the firm issued on December 2nd last, and I am also hoping that any update that does come out gives some clarification as to the deliberately omitted (from the Dec 2nd update) ACE NIC business. I'm definitely seeing this as a positive particularly in light of Dec 2nd RNS and last months announcement about DU developments with server manufacturers, and it isn't as though this is a bolt out of the blue - this was all detailed in the funding RNS last year. IMO the company drawing these funds at this time certainly suggests very accelerated development and progress towards monetisation. As always, time will tell. GLA LTH.

FWIW I would say the most imminent news will be, as Dallo says, the appointment of the Chair, but also an numbers update following the year end Dec 31 which will hopefully firm up on the Dec 2nd RNS. I am then looking towards the end of March/early April for a progress update for the business in general, and possibly the ongoing field trials, as a Q1 review. "The Company has continued to test and develop its product both with OEMs and end-users including national telecoms operators. These initial testing phases have progressed well and the Company now anticipates that these will lead to larger scale field trials prior to eventual commercial deployments." Dec 2nd RNS. IMO GLA LTH.

Traceylied, completely agree. Whilst there remains significant risk here (which is why Enet has the market cap it currently has), the indications are that success is not far away and considerable reward will follow. Now, if we can see that I’m pretty sure other players in the general tech sector can too, particularly those who come into direct contact with David & co, and in my experience, where significant sums of money are to be made, vultures will begin to circle. The saving grace is that the board have control as Dallo has said previously and any offer will need to meet David’s magic number. Of course, this could all be completely misguided! At the risk of being shot down, Napatech have an established earnings stream and are showing net income, whereas Enet are still in the move from IP to monetisation of same. I appreciate that their markets are markedly different but those are facts. Now, as I have said on a number of times previously, Enet need to move into the monetisation of their IP and product development in order to move the market cap/SP. IMO the RNS' over the past three-six months have hugely de-risked Enet and I suspect we are on the cusp of evidence of large-scale monetisation which is why I have questioned the stark omission of ACE NIC business from the December 2nd RNS. I have a suspicion that that has been held back pending the results of the larger field trials currently being conducted whereupon we will see an RNS that may re-rate this firm several fold. Of course, I may be completely misguided but, as with everything in life, time will tell. GLA LTH.
