A good peer comparison for Sao Martinho could be Calidus Resources.
They are a bit more advanced, with a 1.2m oz resource near surface and close to
completing a PFS. With some trial mining, we may not need to do a full PFS.
Their market cap is £21m.

From the other place.
"I've spoken to Shard about this and it seems that the problem is that the company hasn't been able to generate enough interest amongst II's and HNWI's. They are therefore sending a team over to Spain to view the operations and produce a broker note. The notes they have prepared for JLP have been excellent and have resulted in several II's and HNWI's taking notifiable positions, some in a fundraising but also buying in the market before and after the fund raising."

We know that MM aspires to grow WRES into a mid-tier mining company, so for that
to happen he needs a pipeline of in-house projects or acquisitions.
With Sao Martinho being 100% owned and having a potential 1 million oz plus gold reserve,
it fits perfectly into this strategy.
The delayed JORC report indicates that he was in no hurry to progress this project,
and anyway, we couldn't afford it at the moment without a partner.
I think he'll keep this on the back-burner, adding to the JORC reserve when we can afford to put
more holes in it, with the idea of accelerating progress after we've got La Parrilla generating free cash flow.
The trial mining that's on the horizon supports this.
A 100,000 oz per year gold mine over 10 years will be a nice addition to the portfolio
and keeping it 100% owned avoids having pesky partners to deal with.
If the whole lot can be dug out from surface, the capex should be low relative to peers.

They drilled 15 holes for 2000m. I doubt that's enough to get to 1m oz.
But you never know.
