Thanks for the info
It's only when they can scare the weaker bretheren that they make the big bucks!
Full marks to Doug, he has handled this change beautifully!
Not for me , it's far too fatty, my stomach wont take it!. I really feel a Poor Old Soul POS (modsa)
I remember when the company went bust, so it's not always an upward price trend. I've just topped up with a few more as I think management pay more attention to the Accountants now and, with luck, we should get a rather better yield than in th past! GLA
I think it might help to have some new blood on the BOD.
As investors it's up to us to get off our backsides and vote to protect the workers, although it may look as if these guys are coming up with schemes to make us shareholders rich the chances are we will get a very SHORT TERM profit which will cost us dear in the long term. These Yanks are just in for a quick profit then they are out leaving a disgruntled workforce and us with shares much reduced in value. I had a lot to do with the guys in Rolls and they were great but didn't react kindly to being abused! I no longer have any connection with Rolls except as a shareholder.
Ifyou want to make money, buy on the bad news!
This is holiday season share prices always fall, the sp will come back but unless you want to make your broker rich sit tight!
How many others on this board remember when the company went bust? It was a complete shock to all involved, not least the Accountants! Always remember, don't invest more than you can afford to lose! I wasn't invested then so it didn't worry me!
As a holder from the Hardcastle days I was so depressed by the ever falling share price that I effectively wrote them off unti I saw the other day that they had risen from the near dead to showing a flicker of life. As for the Blackheath land I fear residential development is out, but perhaps a Caravan site contributing to the tourist industry would be acceptable.
This is greatly undervalued - not unusual on AIM - we, as consumers, were lucky that it was a warm winter otherwise it is doubtful that we would have escaped emergency measures.
I bought these for my wife - can't afford the pretty ones, but at least these should give a sense of security!
Remember this is an investment company not an operator, I ike it as DL is anti fracking so the sp hasn't suffered badly from the oil price fall.
Shares Mag gave it a thumbs up in their Oil&Gas suplement this week.
If what TW says is supported by the known facts take notice, otherwise ignore!
