Seem much less bothered by the litigation across the pond, I guess lawsuits are so common over in the US maybe they just see it as a bump in the road? Or they think strong grounds for being overturned by a judge?
Either way, every day since the RNS there's been a big pick-up in price on US opening.
Nearly 1% of the total share in issue traded today alone, plus the volumes yesterday. Something stirring but genuinely don't know what. Here's hoping....
The trade was only worth ~£30 total. There was a share option a few months ago at 20p for all exisiting holders, I suspect it may be related to that. It is very odd timing though!
beatrootjuice - yes you should always take broker ratings with a pinch of salt, its in their interest to maximise the upside. However, QPP is not a fair example of anything or a standard stock in any way!!
IMO he knows its a very surpressed price with current oil prices etc., next year or two could be very exciting!
Hopefully tides turning again with the two RNS's today, just needs a kick up the backside from oil prices!
Well there's ya divi! Excellent set of RNS's today, cash generation for the year looks particularly good. All the best, hoping to see this rise nicely in the coming months.
good to see. Think this one has got legs again once the market turns. Hopefully good results coming.
I'll hold my hands up if I'm wrong, but in my opinion you'd be absolutely mad to expect this to drop to 8p, unless theres plenty of bad news GL!
Yea and I'm really kicking myself for not selling a few the other day now! I still don't think this will take it to his buy-in price of 10p tho IMO.
Looks a bit of a false rise to me - bid hasnt changed, just MM's upping the ask to increase the spread. Still, could be them trying to stimulate buying which cant be a bad thing!
Not yet annoyingly, I got a little greedy and was holding out for 19.5/20p yesterday and it never quite got there. Regret not taking a slice at 19.25 but y'know, its one of them really isnt it, easy with hindsight! If it hits 19p again today I think I'll have a skim. Good luck getting a buy in price you are happy with, a lot more to come from this share over the coming years IMO.
Basically, I think you'll be lucky to see 10p but never say never!
Personally I am considering skimming some profits soon, Bought originally at just over 20p, sold half in the high 20's, then bought in again with those funds last week at 14p to average down to 17p. Huge amount of potential here and definitely a share I want to be in so I will only be looking to take a skim and stay in but the price fluctuations here are still very much ongoing so I see it as a good oppurtunity to take some short term profits. Will be looking at buying in more whenever the price drops below about 15p though I think. All of this IMO of course, the market is a very very funny thing at the moment and pretty unpredictable! DYOR and good luck
Seemed to find a solid support level at well above 20p before the recent global market woes. Long way off on this share in terms of a boom, but they continue to develop their conventional operations as well as the prospective shale. Plenty of ups and downs to go here, and plenty of money to made dipping in and out IMO. If the market stabilises a bit this has surely got to be heading north again.
Don't see the issue hoss2?? Yes they lost a fair bit because both teams scored but thats surely pittence in comparison to the amount they will now keep from bets on Brazil to win it from well before the world cup even started? Also William Hill didnt make any payouts for the 7-1 either.
Really pleased with the appointment of James Henderson to take over from Topping, he has vast experience in the company, in particular international growth and online betting. These two areas will be key to the companys success over the next few years IMO. Onwards and upwards, lets hope!
Christ!! Potentially buys rather than sells at a price of 34.5 as well, surely??
Indeed, I've just got home from a day out and most of my other stocks are in the days bloodbath!! Don't panic I guess.
Ah yes, just come across this article: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-2651605/William-Hill-poised-James-Henderson-new-boss.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Almost 30 years at William Hill, should be a good shout. Hopefully shares the same visions of moving towards online because inevtiably thats the way its gunna grow.
