Lots of folks selling post christmas discount I reckon. Would surely see an uptick from retail as the weather gets warmer and everyone realises they just need to spend £1,200 to save 33% on wine purchases that they can then sell at a later date for similar buy price. Not a bad option tbh - either way Chapel Down win through increase in SP and increase in sales.

Probably a pump and dump, share raise? I doubt the summit has anything to do with as GSF had representatives there but that's down for the day so far.

Green hydrogen is a load of rubbish. So many countries looking at this over the last 5-years have now realised it's not viable until you've got the surplus renewables which most are targeting dates between 2030 and 2050. Hydrogen is "useful" but nowhere near in the quantities they think it is and not at the cost point new project developers are using for their investment cases. We should be looking to divest that one as soon as possible!

Is this now becoming a buy out target?

Got mine too - anyone know what's happening with the rest of their shares...there's a few interesting ones in their portfolio that I'd like to have added to mine. GGP can't be their most significant holding surely.

I genuinely am delusional enough to agree - the projects are massive, we've just picked a stupid country to put them in but once they are there and up and running it'll be class! Just the 5 years I've waited is probably enough. Will likely wait for the next news if not await the placing.

Currently there are a lot better places to put money and waiting for the inevitable 10x to break even...meh not worth it

Before anyone invests in here - you might want to look at the market and peers.

GRID and HEIT are solely in the UK market (for now), which has been terrible in the last 12 months for revenue. GSF has exposure to UK but also Ireland, Germany and Texas has has provide decent updates over the last 12 months.

Definitely worth taking a look elsewhere before buying in.

Jeeez - GRID and HEIT both way down. Looks like the bet on the GB market didn't play off as well as they'd like.

GSF proving diversification is the winner, looking forward to the next update. Historically Ireland has been the breadwinner in final quarter. Based on the weather outlook and recent storms - can see it being a positive end!

Think you need to revisit the definition of "world war" - ww2 saw almost the entirety of Europe fighting each other, with the US, Russia, Australia and India all involved - it also spanned 3 continents.

What we are seeing today are a few skirmishes based on that scale of ww1 and ww2!

Can I ask what you believe to be the perceived risk? Seems like portfolio diversification has worked wonders over it's peers but the sector as a whole seems to be painted with the same brush even though they are two distinct strategies at play.

I mean, in her defence, the PK gov has been VERY turbulent over the last 4 years. Annoyingly not getting us the approvals we needed in the time we needed them in.

There's very little excuse for the gold project in Oz - not idea what's happened with the green hydrogen deal but they was going to be a 2030 delivery project anyway so just trying to boost shareholder interest.

I'm hopefully that they don't use the AIM market for a raise/placing. There is enough equity in their wine/land that debt should be able to be raised from the back of those elements.
