George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Dividend scenario could still be relevant if there are ongoing payments like you say - could be because the assets are being sold to different parties at different times and with different payment structures - staggered payments seem to be a possible feature.
If WK went first, this would provide cash to complete any further work needed on the Kola assets and give EUA a bit more leverage in their sale process.
Hydrogen projects could also happen as per the Deeside example which while didn’t go ahead, shows the BoD were actively looking at projects.
Very general comment on the Murmansk portal:
“In the course of interaction with the Trade Missions of the Russian Federation initiated by the region in 31 countries not included in the list of unfriendly, interaction with the Trade Missions of 20 countries was established. In 2023, it is planned to expand the geography of cooperation with partners from the BRICS and SCO countries.”

Nothing specific to EUA but sharing given the BRICS link - at least could suggest that the regional gov may be supportive of a investor from a BRICS country.
May be helpful in reassuring a buyer in terms of being able to withdraw funds from Russia that relate to new investments.

Slightly strange that the Russians object to a type of ammunition which they modified some of their own tanks to use in 2018 when it was said:
“The use of depleted uranium ammunition does not violate any international treaties, expert says”
https://tass.com/defense/1036958/amp
Also a bit awkward how this chap quoted in Russian media yesterday seemingly didn’t get the memo about the new direction of Kremlin PR:
“The military expert urged not to dramatize the transfer of uranium shells to Ukraine”
“And Britain is going to hand over shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine. They are designed for spot use and penetration of well-armored vehicles. And there can be no strong infection from them. But they certainly do some harm. In fact, they can't do much to our new tanks”

Not related to EUA or our sector but sounds like it will be a decent investment size announced earlier by a Chinese investor into Russia.
“A Chinese investor bought half of a Yakut company planning energy projects for 870 billion rubles.”

Section from story in Interfax earlier:
Xi Jinping urged to increase the volume and quality of economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and China
Moscow. March 20. INTERFAX.RU - Moscow and Beijing should increase the volume and quality of investment, trade and economic cooperation, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.
"It is necessary to promote a parallel increase in the volume and quality of investment and trade-economic cooperation, strengthen political coordination, create more favorable conditions for high-quality development of investment cooperation, increase the scale of bilateral trade," he wrote in an article published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
According to the President of the People's Republic of China, the two countries should "expand common interests and find new growth points, form a development structure characterized by complementarity and compatibility of traditional trade and new forms of cooperation."

There’s recent story about a 9.3 billion roubles investment into by the Swedish Auriant Mining into Russia.

I’m not sure how this compares to EUA in terms of sanctions and especially Rosgeo being owned by the Russian state but there again, what’s the difference between buying a license from Rosgeo vs a state auction.
Hopefully we will get an update on whether the JV can be progressed or not when the 24 months is up.
In any case, it’s promising with regards to a western company being able to invest significant funds into the mining sector there.
Snippet from today’s press briefing:
Peskov announced his intention to show flexibility with friendly business from the West
"The president meant that it makes sense to think about a situation where, indeed, there are friendly companies in unfriendly countries, firms that, no matter what, are interested in continuing their activity in our country. And the president, in fact, constantly says that we must be flexible and act in a way that best suits our interests. Therefore, of course, this is an occasion to take a flexible position on a case-by-case basis," Peskov said at a briefing.

Not confirmed yet but could be interesting. Possible visit to Moscow then video call with Zelensky.
Would have been good if he’d planned on visiting Kiev rather than video call.

Picked up in the Indian press. Not surprising given the ongoing trade and investment talks.
“There will be no money already next year, we need foreign investors,” he said in light of the Russia-Ukraine war, as per comments reported by TASS, a Russian state-owned news agency. The Russian oligarch called for an end to Moscow’s war in Ukraine in the early days of the conflict in 2022.

I did think that someone like Adani Group could be a contender and then thought FFS when they were hit by the Hindenburg report. Still, they seem to be recovering from that now and their green energy strategy will run for a long time. The wider Indian strategy for green energy is huge so there should be plenty of demand from India especially in view of their competition with China.
Speaking of legal action. On a lighter note, it looks like Terskaya got small fine from the local traffic police recently.

Can only imagine DS would be fuming if it was speeding related:

: - / “I don’t like it when people are rushing!!!!”
