The German chancellor is in China for backdoor negotiations.
Germany knows the gas pipelines were deliberately targeted to prevent it going back on Russian sanctions. But with the mood music changing in Europe over winter, it won't take much, to drop the Ukraine cause.
Plus the Russian's are planning a large offensive as soon as the hard frost's arrive. Ukraine is close to defeat. Best save lives and misery for all and go for peace talks.

This in turn will force Ukraine to seek a peaceful resolution. I'm calling end to hostilities before Christmas. Would be great for the whole world and of course EUA.
