Legal overhang gone

Project moving forward

Focus shifts from dispute to development

So this looks less like a one-day spike and more like staged re-rating.

Possible path from here:

Near term consolidation: 0.12–0.18p

2026 development milestones: 0.20–0.30p realistic

Toward gas visibility (late 2026 / early 2027): 0.30–0.60p+ possible if execution stays on track.

Volatility will stay, but structurally this is no longer the same story as last summer.

Clean balance sheet + funded flagship = optionality.

Fair question Africanskies but the landscape has fundamentally changed.

Mako is fully funded, no future cash calls, retained 8.5% exposure and long-dated cash flows.

Any short-term working capital now is tactical, not structural.

This is a very different, much stronger EME.

Exactly MrH_m ... same exposure, no capex.

Net effect is better for EME. Market will catch up. 👍

LSE or ASX first is secondary in my view, it may even be announced near-simultaneously.

The key is a clear, well-structured RNS that leaves no grey areas. Timing matters, but clarity matters more.

You know that point where you’re just tired of waiting on a stock? In my experience, that’s often when things finally happen.

2.5+ months of silence post-notice, with the project still moving and no hard follow-through, feels more like late-stage fatigue than failure. This kind of silence often comes right before resolution.

In this case silence could be a good sign...it feels like work being done off-mic.

Fair points on the share count and potential overhang. My counter is that the biggest rerate driver here isn’t ‘long-term story’ yet, it’s binary risk coming out. If we get a clean-title, clarity RNS with decent retained economics, you often see a sharp repricing first, then the market decides where it consolidates. A spike to 0.1p wouldn’t need everyone to become long-term buyers overnight, just a temporary imbalance as uncertainty lifts. Agree though: without strong detail (or a refreshed strategy thereafter), any move can fade. We’ll see soon.

I get the valuation angle, but Conrad’s mcap isn’t a clean ‘$/1% of Mako’ yardstick and EME’s rerate isn’t just about an extra 1–2% headline carry. The real swing factor is structure: clean title + removal of the cloud + how cash calls/deferred amounts are dealt with + any retained economics (carry/royalty/back-in/contingent upside). Take the binary risk out and the equity can reprice well beyond a simple per-percent compare, especially on a tight free float. Agree it’s detail-dependent though, a vague or cash-only headline could spike and fade.
