Hallowed, Good post. Yes these underhand tactics have been going on for too long. We live n learn, try to share as much info as possible. Naked shorting happens all the time, but within a limited time window. Shorters are always scared of a major bounce that can come anytime. With small share in free Float, they will struggle to close out quick enough when buying back in open market. No body can fight the Market.....it is just too big.....our day will come despite all the games.

I think it could be Bergen offloading their last remaining shares now. Could be wrong. If it's Dr. O, then only Holding RNS can provide confirmation. Until then we are all speculating. Who ever is selling, demand is there and mopped up very quickly cutting out all the hard work for MMs. Could it be UK or US fund managers coming in at these crazy low prices OR brokers buying on behalf of a Predator waiting to pounce? Lot of speculation, but equally interesting.

Bishand, Could be last chance. Just my opinion. I am no expert. We have been here quite a few times. This time with so much news in the pipeline this could finally breakout. On TA support has been tested what 4 times now. All the hallmarks for a breakout are there. MA200....decreasing MA50......increasing. Golden Cross nearing. What more clues do folks want? Just my opinion only.

Agree. Few days delay or a week is nothing. They will announce Block XX Rig confirmation soon as it is signed. They simply provide guidance as to timeframes. Far too many nervous nellies here.

US spread is ridiculous, hence big variations in price. Not an accurate measure either due to low volumes generally. Last year Jan/Feb was different as US price rallied to 45-48 cents on the back of UK price run up to 38.5 pence.

I think the 9.964m was from a little while back. Since then we have had multiple large Sells in past few weeks of: 4m 2m 1.8m 1m 900k Few 500k also. Think they must be almost done by now. No body else would sell in these large Qty in my view. Only the MMs would know...,as they would have received few Block of shares to offload. They would let it go once cleared with bit of Buying pressure.

Correction:

There won't be any Holding RNS....as Bergen already went under 3% threshold.

So no mandatory disclosure required by them.

Think Bergen are done with their remainder shares....might have another 500k-900k left tops IMHO.

shares and NOT Dr.O as we have been speculating all along. Yes she will step down as non-Exec director at next AGM, but not sure if she is obliged/forced to sell her remaining 12m holding.

Next Holding RNS should confirm my hunch.

As per last records:

* 1 Dec 2017 - Bergen deal Terminated.
* 8 Dec 2017 - Bergen went below 3% (total shares c.333m = 9.9m left to sell), assuming 2.99% holding.

Just look at ALL the Holdings breakdown - guess who was at no.2 spot with 9,964,421 shares.

I think it's Bergen who have been offloading their remainder shares. Even though the deal was Terminated on 1 Dec. They probably sat on their shares and wanted to sell out during the run up to SL, that never happened.

Just a very very strong gut feeling. Anyway, even they should be done & dusted. Hence not much tick up in price despite some big Buys over last 2 weeks.

That is exactly the +1.066M trade (as per heading) that popped up on US trading book earlier (yahoo finance).
