D1nger, I been having same thoughts. They must have found something pretty decent at Snow Leopard, otherwise they would have moved Rig on to Wild Horse. Going by Sinopec drill time estimates, they should be in the main deeper zone now. As per US EIA report on Mongolia, more mature oil is found in source rocks at depth from 7000 - 8000 feet onwards. In terms of metres and drill time estimates, we should be in the zone now. Also, Snow Leopard being the deepest drill of the lot will be testing the deeper layer also around 10,000 feet. (3050 metres). This could be that "secondary" Petroleum system that they think exists in Mongolia. There was a reason why BG farmed In and had Snow Leopard as one of their drill location at the time. Time will tell.

I defo read your posts with interest along with InterestKing and Davie46 who is a pretty straight talk guy, along with few others, names escape me...(no offence Scully...lol). I lost quite a lot here in the past...sure my own decision. Broke even, still did not take Capital out. Could have doubled up instead on few properties at the time. I am sure we all got a story to tell... Anyway gave this a second try albeit with a small position to test the waters. But am disappointed as to how Potter let this slip away... I already know your thoughts re: consortium angle....but frankly have to disagree....at least NOT with this Major....they are gone in my view...Why....will never know. Prospects are great, I won't be here otherwise. Company is not dead....worst case they can raise funds and go alone...but don't think Govt. wants them to go alone. Govt. want deeper pockets take control of drilling here for them to sell it to the Environmental lobbyists. However I can subscribe to the consortium idea from 'New' parties perspective (without current major) which will take time. As LTH, you just might have to sit here little beyond 2018. Just my own views. Let's see how this story continues. ATB.

Hallowed, Could be partly right....MMs helping some of their mates to close their shorts as we enter the main deeper zone. Could poke that this weekend or early next week. Some new investors also trying to time it right. Combination of the above 2 may be the case today. From here on, each day drilling becomes key. Snow Leopard is the deepest drill of the lot, testing the deeper layers also. Will find out soon anyway.

Edison target.........+62p (risked) and +£2.65 (unrisked).
