I know....not many selling at these silly prices when drilling about to commence. They drag price down, and try to wear folks down to the point of frustration where some break down and sell. That's what they want us to do. But if you done the research then you should know value here is MANY Multiples of current price. I never put Stop losses coz MMs will hunt them down. Patience should be rewarded substantially here.

Jedi, No. Thought about getting it once upgrade to Premium membership. Decided not to after hearing about so many issues. May be in the future.

Professor, Could it be some trolls shorted this while spreading false info and using a small window while waiting for news? They only have a small profit window before they get one in the back....

Yep. No brainer... Newmont pretty smart and know the hidden value when they see it and go for it. Think folks just waiting for drilling to start. I am always amazed at folks buying after the price has already gone up when you could load up cheap today. Each to their own.

NPV @ $1200 = $0.86 BILLION

NPV @ $1300 = $1.01 BILLION

NPV @ $1400 = $1.16 BILLION

You are right. They have a 4 month lock in period. Not that Newmont intend to sell....in fact they reserve the right to increase their holding in OMI.

Just a matter of time....consolidating really well. US-China talks stalemate. Brexit has reached Stalemate Italy issues bubbling away in background. US- Saudi issues EM currencies dropping. Gold will be a big winner. Expect a re-run of $1900 Gold on this cycle. Newmont will swallow all 3 projects. Anza Buritica Lyra They just fired the first shot by taking c.20% stake.

Just look at 8 Buys in a row today from 9;30 A.M.

Price paid went UP with every BUY......shows you....with just little more Buying pressure & Volume....this could fly.

We might be near to that kind of day, when next RNS lands.

Wont be catching these golden nuggets at these low prices.

Both have very good projects. SOLG also started out with very low MCap.....look at it now...Wow. Cascabel is at a much more advanced stage compared to ANZA, hence low entry at OMI could provide very substantial ROI.

OMI could turn out as SOLG MK2....early entry and you could be laughing all the way to the bank.

Best way to look at the comparison is:

OMI Mcap is crazy low +£10m currently. (OMI can Multi-bag many times).

SOLG Mcap reached +£700m....illustrates the impact of having both:

(1) A Major on board, AND

(2) Good quality deposit.

Geographically both SOLG and OMI are on the same rich belt.....Peru, Equador, Colombia.

Yes, Upside here is MASSIVE.....market sentiment can do wonders.

Think it was back in 2007....I was watching SOLG price at the time when it shot up to 84p, but kept waiting for a re-trace...did not happen......rest we know.

Fast forward today....Solg is in much better shape no doubt with NewCrest and BHP in house.

OMI is very early stage....but on course to follow similar trajectory IMO.

Size of the resource at ANZA will become clear as drilling progresses.

Price won't stay low forever. But when it does motor ahead, it would be worth watching the re-rate due to only 100m shares in free float. Hence the moves are very pronounced and fast.

Add in the mix.....Gold cycle is on the UP.

Anza got Copper and Silver too. High grade gold deposits are attractive to Majors as it keeps the unit costs low, making each Oz much more profitable.

Let the drilling commence....please !!!

Chicken, Many are trading this and will continue as the potential Upside is huge. No point bashing the share like you do at times, when you want to profit from it at the same time going forward. Just focus on your entry / Exit and you should do ok. Why attract undue hostility towards yourself by using unorthodox methods to deramp just coz you sold. There is plenty here for everyone.

Besides, that same person might be happy to Hold and sell at +25p or lot higher.
