Not really....big difference. Ggp grades came very low. Newmont had more than 6 months and another 3 month extension at EG before they walked out after using their own tech. At OMI, Newmont did multiple site visits before Walking In through the front door and taking 19.9% Equity stake. High Gold grades at Anza speak for themselves.

Well, you can never tell with this share....but tomorrow A.M...10p very much on the cards, with current momentum.

Golden Cross kicked in.....trend is UP....before Dec feasibility....which is a massive game changer and allows OMI to showcase ANZA to the world with robust economics with a $$$ value ascribed to it.

Today is nothing compared to the massive re-rate that would be triggered by Dec feasibility.

I think smart ones getting in early, before price runs away too much.

Could see 10p tomorrow.

yep. Lots of scenarios Open up with Dec feasibility, once a $$$ figure is known for ANZA.

OMI could simply sell Anza for nice CASH lump sum AND may be retain a 5% Royalty from Anza production.

Use the cash to advance Uruguay....with Gold heading to $1500.

Return HALF of cash from Anza to current shareholders as 'SPECIAL DIVIDEND' payment....etc.

Continental Gold is the 2nd largest shareholder in OMI....so they would expect a decent OFFER from Newmont. Same goes for Gold2000....3rd largest shareholer.

May be trying to collect a few for TSX open for our Canadian investors.

That would be nice. Sleep for 2 months and Newmont could pitch an early offer at 70p ;-)) Would still value OMI at only £105m MCap.

My own gut feeling is to expect an OFFER soon after Dec Feasibility report for Anza comes out. Newmont secured 'First refusal' for a reason. Offer would be for rest of 80%....they already own c.20%

Bhargav, Anza land package is 207 sq.km which is huge. Will need to check on Buritica...from memory it is similar...let me check and come back to you.

Continental Gold share prices raced away to C$5.53 a share in next 12 months after the feasibility report and once $$$ value for Buritica was known from C$1.50 just before the report came in Feb 2016. OMI on the cusp of a similar run Up in coming months.....no brainer.

Results come in Dec 2018........with NI 43-101 to be filed on TSX in Dec.

Already been commissioned to external qualified industry consultants (as per last RNS).

Yep. High Gold Grades at 'Buritica' made Continental skip the PEA and went straight for the Feasibility & Technical report (back in 2016) which is the NI 43-101 TSX compliant reporting standard.

Continental wanted to put a $$$ value on 'Buritica' gold deposit.

May 2017, Newmont Buys in 19.9% equity in Continental @ C$4 a share.

Dec Feasibility report should put a $$$ value for Anza.......

Anza project economics look great similar to Buritica, being just 50km away on the same Gold rich belt.

Good either way. Most of the folks know, value of Anza Gold deposit is 'Multi-million $$$'.

Even £75m Mcap only values this at +50p a share.......still only at £11m MCap ?

Buritica has NPV +$1.16 Billion (for 3.7 Moz Gold AND 10.4 Moz silver).

Newmont could Buy Out OMI at £150m on the cheap with Lunch money.....that is £1.00 a share.

That is when you can be nervous......not yet mate.

Think MMs ready to take it higher. Noticed wide spread at the Open with some Buys at 7.14 showing as Sells... MMs obviously wanted to grab a few to sell higher later. Could see 8p today. Either way happy with gradual rise back to over 10p.

SL, I have locked my entire Holding at 40p for now. Dec Feasibility is a game changer....and main driver also for early Newmont buyout

Both 20dma and 50dma above 200dma now. 10dma is next..very close and should also be above 200dma soon.
