RE: MY TAKE OF QUESTIONS FOR TIM ON THE RNS11 Mar 2021 19:31
Mate, we are all down quite a bit. You are not alone. People who got in at todays lows are lucky indeed. We all need bit of luck sometimes.
As I have said previously if you take 6-12 month view, then these drops don't mean much unless you some flash hot shot trader who wants a quick 20% in and out job.
Key take aways for me going forward:
We can now expect both Senala and Cameroon being fast tracked in Q2.
(1) ORR seem to be going after Bibemi and the new Central Cameroon licences pretty aggressively. They also will be in full control of regular updates instead of relying on IAMGOLD.
(2) IAMGOLD request clearly indicates to carry on with Senala with a proposition of increased spending in Year 4 to make up for year 3 shortfall.
If I was Tim, I would just tell IAMGOLD to forget about the remaining 3000m AC drilling shortfall and instead go straight to RC and Diamond drilling which is how ORR found those high gold grades and depths at "Fare - Far South" of over 30 g/t and 60 g/t and many others etc.
Fare prospect is huge, just not seen the full potential yet. So do not underestimate the value there. Those Multi-million ounce deposits around Senala are proof there is lots of Gold there.
Make your investment decisions with a cool head, not emotion. Do whatever you comfortable with.
Nothing else has changed. In fact from what I can see, AC drilling just confirmed gold anomalism across the entire 6km strike from North to South.
IMHO, DYOR.
