Ha! Good stuff!! This is one of my slow and steady as she goes stars. I'm thinking it will be a good alternative 'banking' option should things go a bit Pete Tong on LBG with Ed Silliband. Think its unlikely and LBG is still where I have most of my "financial sector" .... but the cash just seems to keep on rolling in to SJPB (was the same when I was marketing director for Intelligent Finance ... which provided the then offset mortgage and saving platform (white labelled) to SJPB. Superb share.... Plenty still to come on their marketing agencies side. Strong Board, well run group of companies. Media companies do well coming out of recession, advertising markets picking up. 2014 a strong year ahead. Miss g :-))

Hi Julie... good to see you too. Yes, I think by the sound of it, 2014 is going to be a very encouraging year for FGP. And I'm still hanging on in there with TCG... hoping we might yet see our 200p before the end of the year. We can hope! Miss G ;-))

Hi all... particularly Rusty, Mr Bobs (and Shoki if you're still around!!) Haven't posted for a while as have been rather busy on the home front and elsewhere. However.... I attended a black tie industry dinner last week and found myself seated next to a senior exec (director level) of FGP. Naturally we had a lot to talk about! I was interested to learn about the priorities and focus they have currently on the East Coast Sleeper bid and of course the Scotrail franchise renewal bid which comes up in about a years time. No specific detail of course ... but general enthusiasm and positivity which was good to hear. All in all, he was very bullish and confident of the financial progress that is being made following the RI early this year. Clearly he was being guarded about what he could and couldn't say and it would be inappropriate for me to share on some of the positive initiatives they have underway in respect of their US operations ... but I also got the distinct impression that we will see a return to divi's in 2014..... All in all, I came away very re assured about my investment in FGP and long term hold for me. IMO. DYOR.... Miss HG ;-))

I know .... I was quite amazed.... I had mentally written it off to be honest !! No substance to the rise it appears ... That said, I had lunch yesterday wig a friend who is an Investment Director at a major investment house / life assurer ... He highlighted again the unregulated nature of AIM market including the potential for leaks and insider dealing etc etc. so who knows... Perhaps there is something going to break at sme point soon.... We'll see. In the meantime, I still see Fjet as a basket case....." happy day miss G. :-)))

Nooo .... lots of catching up to do with my pals on WRES. Didn't end too badly at finish. If it drops tomorrow, I might top up a wee bit and bring my average down. I don't really intend to be in for the long term ... just plan for a 'quick" profit is now going to be a few months longer! Jings - hope SOLG comes through soon... Yes... Haven't got much top up none left so being very careful with it. So, when you say 2.5 and 6 on SOLG ... Does that mean that you think it will fall to 2.5 after a rise to 6? Appreciate your thoughts...

Yes, correct on all counts ... I think I made that point to Piggle (gently I hope!) Currently trying to keep the guys calm on WRES.. .. Though its an absolute stinker of a day. That's just wiped out all my TCG profit in the past couple of weeks. Ah well.. It will all come good ! :-))
