RE: Emotional v Rational13 Jun 2019 23:16
New poster so please take it easy on me.
I maybe going senile but am sure I read somewhere last week that TCG were going to look at the preliminary offers and then invite formal offers for the airline side in early July but can't find the link to the article so are not expecting to hear anything official until the 18 July update.
I still don't understand why the price is as it is. TCG interim results are dire price drops, makes sense. Citi says shares worthless price drops, again makes sense. Now with various offers on the table for parts or all of the company after a strong start this week the sp is almost back to square one despite the fosun news over the weekend.
Stupidity means I've bought, panic sold and bought again to end up with a smaller holding at higher average so will just sit on my hands, ignore everything and wait to see what happens but stll can't understand why this is not moving upwards to the level it was at pre Citi as with preliminary offers on the table it seems to me it is in better shape than before and I really cant see fosun wanting to kiss goodbye to all or part of their investment of around £270m.
Mind you I am not greedy and like kiwikev would be happy to walk away at 24p and leave the big wins to others.
