Yes it can - but AFAIK fishbones have never been tried in th e UK even offshore - it has been successful in Denmark offshore. I suspect its quite expensive and they won't wantto risk it on an early well.

Multiple sidetracks from the same bore are common in US shale gas/oil but again I don't think there are any/many in the UK. Again its partly cost, partly kit and partly expertise.

If HH2z works I can see them trialing the technology in a future well - but that could be 3-5 years away when they have the luxury of risking a well go horribly wrong.

what do you mean by that? Multiple well bores from a single vertical well? I think all the diagrams they've published show individual wells each sidetracked from a new vertical (or near vertical) bore

And before anyone goes mad to drill either type they'd have to bring back the BDF 28 again - or a newer fireproof rig perhaps......

Routine - they did it once a week or once a fortnight winter of 2018/19 and start of winter of 2019/20

Correct - the problem seems to be in the surface/near surface piping - they've had issues ever since October 2018 IIRC - it's quite a common problem onshore UK - it seems to disappear once the night temperatures get above 8C

Unlikely - shutting down a flowing exploration well is not a brilliant idea for all sorts of reasons. You have to keep people there to monitor pressures and be prepared for an y emergency whatever happens

I think that offshore action is due to the oil price not the virus - everyone trying to save cash at any cost. But production activity will continue and I can't see any reason for UKOG to scale back on site activities - the office is probably closed tho'

Oil & gas operations will not be affected by the lock-down -for a start there are serious safety issues involved in cutting numbers

I'd expect they will just keep slogging on for the duration. It may affect the office etc and I'm sure the NOMADS have all gone off to their 2nd or 3rd homes somewhere - so little news but hopefully continued progress

Big companies aren't interested in 200 bopd - or even 2000 bopd - and who wants the hassle of dealing with the EA, councils, swampies etc etc ? Outside of Wytch Farm big companies quit the onshore UK 25+ years ago

Lets face it nothing on here has any effect on the share price - the long decline in UKOG's price is due to 2 factors - the continuous flow of new shares and the long wait for good news from the well with a CPR. All the rest is just noise

Recently we've been hit by falling oil prices and the virus - but so has everyone else.

There is no evidence of "shorting" or of MM manipulation

Ramper & de rampers have absolutely no effect - except to get up each other's noses............
