Nomlungu - no-one has made money from geothermal or mining in Cornwall - the last geothermal well was drilled with EU money and cost over 315mm and they need to drill 2-3 more for "proof of concept" - where is the money going to come from? Warm water geothermal as they use in Holland may work if you can find a customer but deep geothermal (outside places like Iceland) is like Fusion - its always 10 years away

Problem is it takes enormous amounts of effort to mobiles e small shareholders - just look over at HURR - it'll be interesting to see how successful the activists are there. I don't think it was the shareholders who pulled the rug from under UKOG's original plan - it was the financial guys who have made so much wheeling and dealing the stock. I guess they've run out of appetite for any more of the type of placings we've seen in the past

trouble is he was proved to be totally wrong - and unfortunately his management style meant the company went all in with no real effort to put in place possible mitigation in case he wasn't right. He is totally to blame for the current situation.

The answer is that when they tried to produce at the predicted volume sit pulled in water not oil - the original predictions were WRONG

the warrants will come in play sooner than expected as RNS roll out rapidly . We have entered the "completion end" of the new business and SP is all set for a major take off. All the funding, whether debt or equity, is sorted, with SF on track and permissions coming through in the near future. 3 P plus in 2 months is very likely.

Correct - if they REALLY believed that they were going to be able to steal the Company and get all that remaining oil they'd extend the contract now. By not extending they've saved some large termination fees if it doesn't continue to produce and handed the whip-hand to Bluewater if they continue on beyond summer 2022.

Bluewater almost certainly don't have a new job for the FPSO rat the moment these things take several years to organise - so they'll keep it with HUR as long as possible.

Might well have been but they probably weren't offering a 2 for 1 farmin (which is a bit rich in the current market) - UKOG were desperate for something new and so made a really good offer to AME
