So ... On April 21st, Millennium increased its short position by 0.58%. This is the largest increase recently. Everything points in a positive direction. The company is in good shape, and investors can probably expect substantial payouts. So why on earth would they decide to significantly increase their short position?
Sometimes situations seem too good to be true, but I don't think there's a bad situation for NCC right now. Are they assuming the deal won't go through, or that the rest of the business is simply overvalued? Or is this also due to the Anthropic situation, where cybersecurity is no longer needed and AI is supposedly taking over everything?
I really don't understand it.
