If the fund raise is away then the BoD have until the AGM to deliver at which point the shareholders will vote on board composition. Only earlier route would be if a group of investors forced an EGM whereby such a vote would be held earlier.

We need a commercial element to complement the scientific capability

Exactly Woodsy. The news from the 5th Oct , when reported confused both tickers. If I’m right tomorrow could be a VERY interesting day!

It’s easy to forget that not that long ago Val was run by a pair of asset strippers who were poised to walk off into the sunset with the company’s IP to a new vehicle that had already set up.

Without the efforts of a group of courageous LTHs there would be no company. At that time there was no commercial interest in 401 as a palliative drug and 201 was the hope. However there was no disguising the fact that the cohort in the trial was so small that whilst the indications were good much more work needed to be done. The board changes took place and Suzy stepped up from lead scientist on 401 to CEO.

In the relatively short period since (in relative terms) the company has been stabilised. There is a way out for 201 if the funding comes off. Many on here will not agree but that will be a major feat given the history. 401 is no longer gathering dust but also has a lifeline. 301 is brought back in house for development. The strategy has been changed and the lab set up. Biogen assets acquired at a knock down price. CTX is an exciting proposition. 2 further evaluations are in train and the Barcelona partnership in place. Lastly, from a scientific point of view and in terms of industry reach the board is much stronger.

A simple reflection of past vs present. Clearly the board needs strengthening from a commercial point of view. I completely understand the angst expressed on whilst remembering bio is high risk and long term.

My point is that the bod have kept the lights on and have to end Q1 to deliver on the strategy with some meaningful progress and value add. The funding vs placing bet they took ran out of time but the company is viable at present and the 201 potential still there.

As ever with Val it’s completely binary. You believe that the bid can deliver, hold and or add and be comfortable with your decision. Or you sell up because the risk reward is considered not viable and you work on other projects. There will be bad actors on both sides of the argument but, like me, no one put a gun to your head to invest and only you can be responsible for you past or future actions.

If I’m not mistaken there are two tickers on Nasdaq for Euda Health Holdings . Euda and Eudaw. Eudaw appears to have risen 90% yesterday and a further 26% after hours.

I may be barking up the wrong tree but are we about to get the due diligence update from Euda?

Suzy - at the last GM the presentation was at best high level and at worst meaningless.

The RNS states that the funds will be used for specific purposes. As shareholders being asked to support the funding we need to see a detailed presentation covering each area. That means who owns it, the specific actions they are taking, what success looks like, how it is being measured and the timelines being worked to. Any of the Board starting a sentence with we won’t cut it. It’s about ownership, responsibility and delivery which means any BoD member needs to start a sentence with I and show what contribution they are making as an individual .

Get that right and 2024 can be a transformative year. Get it wrong and the AGM will be a very unhappy time for all. I will be at at the GM to watch all of the BOD deliver on this expectation.

At the GM on 4th January there will need to be some detailed actions and ownership on each project to carry the day and help investors make up their minds in viability.

In reality we all knew it was straight binary between 201 being funded and cash running out. At least for now the lights are still on and the asset bank far better than at the time of the 2 125 for 1s that I have been through

I guess we’ll find out at 14.30 RB. I’m assuming EUDA have to update the market on progress at the end of the exclusivity period so the end of the placing vs 201 licencing argument will soon be upon us . Praise be !

Tried searching Euda.com this morning. Seems to have disappeared from the search engine which I take as positive and imminent
