The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I think the timing of the new company twitter handle was on purpose.
Lots of news due.
A nice stream of news over next couple of months including 1st quarter earnings and future growth strategy.
Few curve balls to come as well imo.
42 jobs advertised in last week. 46 open roles in total.
I know some will be replacing existing staff, but it look like workforce is expanding by c 20%.
Thats a v significant amount by any metrics. Especially as company has already significantly grown over the last year.
Good news this morning.
Positive vibes returning...
More great news due to arrive any day. Firmly believe with all the recruitment that this company is still growing in 2021.
Won't be long before the SP grows along with it this year.
Interesting one of the 1st images was cruise ships. Big opportunity here.

Snp testing for variants in Canada.
Previous primerdesign tweet referenced Canada. Maybe using snpsig?
"Novacyt supported by the CK Group are recruiting for a PCR Field Application Specialist to join a company at a pivotal point in their growth. This is an exciting opportunity supporting the roll out of new COVID related testing products. You will be using your technical knowledge to facilitate technical solutions for the company's growing customer base."
Shaun P, I checked again and there are 4 job adverts today, but 2 duplicates so you are correct there just 2 (at the moment).
99.9% sure they are Novacyt. Same wording as back in Sept/nov when they were hiring.
Along with some of the other roles, feels like they are really beefing up the sales/support for the UK accounts.
Interesting that speculation started just before 10 Feb for genmark and that shot the sp up 75%.
Any whiff of interest in Novacyt will be a kick up the backside with SP here. Certainly get it to where it should be valued currently.
No problem. The job advertised i was thinking was actually senior territory manager covering Midlands and East. And it is full time/permanent role.
Without trying to add 2 plus 2 and make 5, it indicates to me that if these roles are becoming permanent there is a certain amount of longevity now expected in these NHS account manager roles.
I'm not so sure neilrich.
Step 1 - pcr identifies positive
Step 2 - snpsig identifies variant, or if not clear/new
Step 3 - goes for genomic sequencing
Using SNPsig in step 2 will cut down the amount of sequencing required and therefore makes sense to be part of the triage. Just because we haven't had an RNS doesn't mean stuff isn't happening.
It makes sense to me that they triage with SNPsig and then sequence. Nothing been formally announced, but maybe they can't yet. Maybe they are still working out exactly how this will work moving forwards.
