Simply Wall Street is a little outdated with some of it's data. It's still showing GDR with a MCAP of 8M. Anyone following this Share will know that's not correct. The 90% PI holdings is old data yet to be updated with the latest figures from the open offer.

Muminr - that all depends if the £6M is factored in on the day of dilution. If it is then it will stay where it is or creep up a bit more. If not then it will open a window of opportunity for long and short term investors.

That was a spike caused by the half year reports, it was on its way down before that. My guess is once we get diluted, this will tank below a penny, but I reckon it will be short lived. Once the capital raised from the fundraise is taken into account we should start to creep back up. Hate to put a dampener on things, but I’m just being realistic considering the circumstances.

So tomorrow is when the real carnage starts. Our current SP is 1.48 with an MCAP of 2.28M. Once the dilution is over, we will have 543,141,481 shares in issue. An MCAP of 2.28M will mean O.OO4 in terms of SP. Whether we see that price or not remains to be seen, but if it does drop to that, it will be a great opportunity to really average down at a very cheap price. I vowed not spend anymore on this stock, but at the cheap price that they're available for, and with fundamentals still firmly in place wih the company, it would be stupid not to.

genedrive plc (AIM: GDR), the point of care pharmacogenetic testing company, is pleased to announce that initial orders have been received for the Genedrive MT-RNR1 products from a further five UK hospitals in the Greater Manchester region as they progress towards the sustained deployment in clinical practice in these Neonatal Intensive Care Units ("NICU").

The total value of the orders is in excess of £100,000 and the NICUs of the five hospitals, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Stepping Hill Hospital, Royal Bolton Hospital, Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and Tameside General Hospital admit approximately 1,900 babies per year. These additional sites more than double the number of NICUs in the UK using the test in routine practice.

As you can see the test is already being rolled out. The MT-RNR1 is being distributed to a further five sites in Manchester. So we have tests being rolled out in the North, and tests in the South. The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton started using the tests on the back end of last year. The expansion is ticking over nicely, even though its not as quick as we all would like it. With the stroke test looking most likely to be adopted, there's a lot happening and a lot to look forward to with GDR. LT holders could still yet be rewarded but it will take a lot of patience.

10p is not a crazy target. Once the dilution is out of the way we will probably stay around 1.5 - 2.0. You have to remember that it's sentiment and firm fundamentals that drives these small cap stocks. Having unique products like GDR has will always give the company a good chance to greatly improve their value.

We could recover to around 10p if we get continued positive news around the tests.

In a similar situation as you System. Avg around 15. An SP of 15 would give the company a MCAP of 80M which I think is achievable if you look at the unique products the company has, and the fact they are approved and being used within the NHS. Thats why I took up the Open Offer. Even with the heavy dilution, the company still has a very good chance of turning things around especially for the shareholders. So long as there's no more dilution, we could recover to around if we get continued positive news around the tests.

This stock is virtually a deadstock walking. The company will do alright, but the LT holders which includes me, will suffer heavy losses. Progress with the two tests should see us creep up to about 3p, but it looks like we will be down at these low levels for a while unless, we make big strides with the tests. That's how I see it going, but hope I am wrong.

Here's what the RNS on the 29th Feb stated:

LONDON and SALT LAKE CITY, February 29, 2024 - Renalytix plc (NASDAQ: RNLX) (LSE: RENX) ("Renalytix" or the "Company") announces that effective March 1, 2024, the United States Government has approved adding the company's Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") de Novo Marketing authorized test, kidneyintelX.dkd, to its 10-year Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for early-stage kidney disease bioprognostic? testing services.

Then four days later RENX announces the following:

Renalytix has received an unsolicited approach from a large and well-capitalised publicly listed strategic diagnostics company, which is in the process of evaluating an acquisition of the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of the Company.

Therefore, the Company has commenced a review of all available options, including a possible sale of the Company and/or its assets, and has commenced a formal sale process (as referred to in Note 2 on Rule 2.6 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers) (the "Formal Sale Process").

I'm pretty certain that a big company has realised the potential RENX has, especially now that their test has been added to the GWAC. A bigger company will have more experience and know how on getting theis product distributed and expanded throughout the States.

No point being invested here if you can't be bothered to read the announcements.

I thought the test was already FDA approved, or am I missing something?

JAMESY1980 - I recently hit a two bagger over there. They have something like 4B shares on the market. Not the sort of stock you want to hold on to for too long, but still a great time to buy in. More positive Helium news, could see that rise very quickly from current levels.

I've been comparing the upcoming dilution with similar small cap companies. Companies like RENE, OCTP, HELD, FAB, VAL, BSFA, APTA, IXI, TCF, all but a couple have a small amount of shares on the market. Under normal circumstances the scale of this dilution would virtually wipe out LT holders. However, one thing these other companies lacked, was a product or a couple of products that had massive potential. This for me is the big difference. GDR has products that are being used within the NHS already, with expansion onging. They also have the stroke test the real game changer, with approvals expected in July. These fundamentals alone should see us stay above the penny mark, with a real possibility of rising to 10p or even more within the year. It's imperative that the capital raised from this Offering is used wisely. Another dilution like this would almost certainly wipe out all LT holders.

MCAP = SP x Total shares in issue.

· Company is on track to meet market expectations for the full year.

· Healthy pipeline of sales, adding sales from three new countries with demand expanding via our scientific educational programmes.

· MyHealth Tracker UK customer roll out expected in H2; international roll out to commence in FY25.

· Well-funded to deliver on our strategic objectives.

· Further USA Laboratories expected to commercialise FoodPrint® in FY25.

So here's a breakdown of the Fundraise:

· A non-pre-emptive firm placing (the "Firm Placing") of up to 11,173,994 new Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price, raising gross proceeds of up to approximately £0.17 million. The Firm Placing is not conditional upon Shareholder approval or the Minimum Proceeds being raised;

· A non-pre-emptive conditional placing (the "Conditional Placing") of approximately 155,492,673 new Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price, raising gross proceeds of approximately £2.3 million. The Conditional Placing is conditional on, inter alia, the passing of the Resolutions by Shareholders at a general meeting of the Company expected to be convened later this month (the "General Meeting") and the Minimum Proceeds being raise;

· A REX Offer of up to 233,333,333 new Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price, raising gross proceeds of up to approximately £3.5 million. The REX Offer is conditional on, inter alia, the passing of the Resolutions by Shareholders at the General Meeting and the Minimum Proceeds being raised; and

· An Open Offer at the Issue Price on the basis of 1 Open Offer Share for every 1 Ordinary Share held on the Record Date, to raise gross proceeds of up to approximately £2.1 million for the Company. The Open Offer will be made to Qualifying Shareholders pursuant to the Circular. The Open Offer is also conditional on the passing of the Resolutions at the General Meeting and the Minium Proceeds being raised.

So according to my calculations, if or when the Placing goes through, the company will have approximately 684M shares on the market. An SP of 20p would give us an MCAP value of 137M. Further approvals of AIHL, approval for the stroke test, and FDA approvals should see the company achieve that valuation. So as you can see, the company has a long long way to go before they could ever hit targets like a pound again. However, 20p is very achievable and could happen this year as we continue to expand AIHL distribution, as well as the stroke approvals. It's going to be very interesting to see how this Share once the Placement is out of the way.
