Has been solid support for this for the YTD, with buyers stepping in at 3p nearly every time CFEP have closed the ask. No buyer today at 3p - will be interesting to see if this persistent seller dries up with the bid <3p or if they continue and I fear for the drop if the buyers give up stepping in to support these levels. Getting close to coming out of MTFB lock-in period, and this is desperately overdue some sort of update to see where the numerous investee companies are with things.

Strange price action here. 5.5 being bought out all day long - the first hint of a sell and they throw the price right back down.

HT - buys always seem to outweigh sells here, this is what is so frustrating. All those extra buys yesterday and where did we get...a flat close on a silly spread that was closed on the ask side at the first sign of a sell (despite buys outweighing sells by 3 times). Completely share your long term vision here else I wouldn't be ranting, I'd be selling :) Just letting off a little steam, but should stick to focusing elsewhere until this is ready to do its thing! I admire your persistence but this share's performance of late has been truly awful. It can barely move past 3p without being dumped into and seems incapable of rising along with the recent rises in MTFB and KMK. I think that some news is desperately needed here. As it stands, another 8% lost and sub 3p move on not even 3 grand's worth of trading. FYI, I hold here but am far from impressed with how it's performed of late.

Today. Up 8% on the day - handy if have a sizeable holding like AMP do..

Here again. Cantors stepped down into the 3p ask, after it was bought out over and over last week from the same MM, only to gap to 3.25 and rinse/repeat when volume tailed off. Not sure how many more times it will need to get bought out but with no buyers seemingly willing at a 3.25 ask, its no wonder they keep bringing it back.

Jimzi, I think that's a fair observation. I could chew your ear off all day about what I think the issues with AIM are, but the fact is the money doesn't seem to be swilling around as much anymore. Maybe it's just what I see, but to me the general de facto movement for shares is down. Investors who bought into Motif a few months ago, would have woken up recently to being a third or so down on their investment, and on what? Nothing volume, no real offloading, and more like de-risking of their investment as time and newsflow goes by. People will be fearful to buy if the newsflow is uncertain as MMs just want to drop shares, regardless of fundamentals in some cases, if the news isn't there. Like I said, I'll bore you silly if I get on a rant about it, but I think its no coincidence that despite being scaled out of AIM for the most part, my three holdings here are all dictated by the same MM always on the ask, always pressing it lower. Completely agree re the potential here and at Motif tho, and surely in time with news they will get up to a higher level.

Pfft, I've given up trying to figure that particular MM out. In the absence of trades, I thought the tick up may have been to realign amp a touch after motifs rise yesterday and Amps fall, but now I'm stumped! GL

Agreed Mick - MTFB will be the catalyst here and there is plenty of newsflow and excitement building there. This should move in tandem, but any divergences would just represent a more compelling buying opportunity here. Anything else, aka Datatern or other news, would be a surprise bonus.

To buy this morning - some nice buys coming in both here and MTFB. GLA

Three MMs want 3p, I'd expect there's a few knocking about now.

I presume the bizarre you refer to was the brief bit of blue following those morning's 100k buys...I guess it was bizarre to see blue given the form here of late, but normal service now appears to be resumed. About a quarter of the company's value lost this week thus far- at least we know it wasn't a correlation to the wider markets as its still enjoying dropping more as the main markets enjoy a bounce.

3 trades, not even a grand traded, and 7% off. 250k was bought on Friday's session and this didn't move. What is the deal with CFEP across so many shares squeezing the ask and dragging the stock down? The majority of shares I own just seem to entail them sat on the ask soaking up buy after buy, to only drop it on zero volume. Who is going to put money long into a market where the MMs are hellbent on taking everything down wherever they can. Joke market, needs reform/putting down.

Inclined to agree Roma. It needs a good amount of buying just to keep itself propped up, and barely moves on these buying bursts. No wonder the masses aren't flocking in. Another 7% lower on about two grands net sells, how easily will it reclaim all these silly drops? My guess is not quite as easily as it;s giving them away. V frustrating to be invested in.

Fair point Jimzi. Case and point, another large (100k+) buy just coming through on MTFB.

Another huge drop on low volume. Holding strong here but cannot fathom how this is defying gravity and falling so quick so fast. Still remember not so long back how heavily the 6p level was bought out, and it was never allowed through that level. Glad still holding
