Looking at the charts here, not many can be in any sort of profit at these levels yet each time the MMs tick up it's dumped into with a large sell or two. MTFB breaking out, pushing on strong, and with a fully exercised 37% or so holding here, some can't sell quick enough. Only on AIM. At least it will give the MMs the shares they need to run this up, which they ultimately will do IMO

This is shocking undervalued. On April 27, AMP was priced at 4.375p while MTFB closed at 48p. Today, MTFB is currently at 51.25p, and AMP just 3.5p! It is crazyness. With its convertibles fully converted, another poster on the MTFB board has confirmed that AMP would hold almost 37% of MTFB. All for £6.7m. Madness.

Seemingly no stock available as won't let me get anything for 4.25, even on a FOK. Disappointing day given the RNS' and progress made at investee companies, but expecting a swift reversal as can't get stock at 4.25 but can sell 4p and above in quantity, and 500k above the printed bid.

Ticked back up with 4.25 quickly taken out..can also sell above 4 so this should spring back. Def agree that it looks like a quick attempt at shaking things out and stimulating some volume..

KMK flying, MTFB flying...AMP falls off a cliff - 9% down! On no volume at all. Makes no sense.

Accumulation going on here by the looks of the trading patterns over the last few weeks.

AMP seems to find it impossible to hold gains and progress after a decent rise, of late. I see its been run back down on little selling volume, with even some decent buys at 4 in earlier today, and really doesn't deserve to have given back the majority of ground gained yesterday

Tapered off. A couple small sells and they drop it 9%! No wonder this fell 40% or so on millions of net buys yesterday! Something just doesn't quite add up here (I bought a small amount yest as a punt btw)

Its an odd one. They dropped it on just over 100k but haven't taken it back up on 1.3m of buys. Surely back to 3/even for the day isn't too much of a stretch given the buying pressure

Excellent news this morning. Always good to have £500,000+ shaved off an already accrued liability, but more important for me is the news between the lines. For one, that AMP can raise and take on that debt on behalf of DT without having to go to the equity market or selling early the potential in MTFB via reduction in its huge stake there. Secondly, RM is shrewd, and to take this on he must see significant upside in DT from these levels and is probably very conscious of how close they are on the DT license infringement per the September 15 RNS last year. Wouldn't be surprised for that to be progressing by now, and it makes this move appear all the shrewder. GLA

Hi Jam4u, the September 10, 2015 RNS is the last AMP released on the legal process relating to the infringement at its investee company, Datatern. As noted in the company accounts and other info in the public domain, vast sums have been committed to this, but it offers considerable upside. This could be the news others are referring to, though as AMP has many investee companies, news could theoretically come from any. The lock up on its massive holding in MTFB also lapses soon. GL

To support the rise today. On track to being the highest volume day of the YTD. This has been due a day like this and a breakout to reverse the exaggerated fall, and start moving this share in the right direction towards where it should be.

This is like the immovable share. Nearly two days straight of CFEP selling shares at 5.5. I hope it will hold up as well as it has resisted if PIs start to tire of the non movement and start offloading a few

The level of stock sold by the MM at 5.5 across today and yesterday is unbelievable. Though there have been some background sells, mostly yesterday, all the stock bought has seemingly been through the same one MM over both days (they aren't buyers on the order book), and it's a travesty they haven't let this rise.
