Boots on the ground9 Jul 2025 09:22
I am heavily invested in SEE but I feel we are lacking something in the sales area.
I think SEE need boots on the ground rather than and office based sales team, we need business development managers building relationships with companies, offering incentives based on sales targets being met, we seem to be lacking highly motived sales people, and we have more of a reactive sales team than a proactive sales team.
SEE should be attending every motoring event going, we should be showcasing our tech with the likes of BMW and VW rather than being a silent partner.
I think the reason for the slow down on new contract wins is due to losing many of our OG sales team that built the relationships.
Whilst I still expect SEE to do well in the future, without the right sales force, along with BDMs working with manufacturers and and retailers of SEE tech, the growth will occur at a slower pace which will allow our rivals to catch up and possibly overtake us.
I'm still confident long term but I really think we need to push harder in the sales area, so that we actually start to win some new contracts, or at very least announcements of renewals from existing wins.
Just my 2 cents
