I'll be quite suprised if either one of the newly formed asset companies doesn't go for $2B+. In my heart i know it will be more. But best to keep a level head I guess.

The issue is if the buyer started trying to buy EUA on the open market then the price would skyrocket anyway. The buyer will buy at fair value for the assets, that could very well be many multiples of the current market cap from here. Doesn't matter what the market thinks if the buyer can make shed loads of money on what it sees as fair value. Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it will never happen.

The short and simple answer to that is. You have to spend money to make money. They are going through the motions until it gets taken off their hands. If the BOD think it necessary to place with an institution at 26p then so be it. Value will out here eventually, I think we have some big JORC on the cards soon.

Because the sale isn't agreed yet and it takes time for the cash to be actually received once the binding offer is made. And we want to crack on with getting some value out of the Rosgeo JV. Isn't it obvious?

None discounted placing to secure some progress on our Rosgeo JV whilst the sale of the assets are finalised. 3% dilution is very minimal for what the cash allows us to do. Sensible cracking on with things as usual while sale is finalised imo.

I don't think we'll be waiting until September just to raise funds. I think 1-2 months is most likely. Happy with the risk here given the current MCAP and cash position/no debt etc.

Well atleast Greg will get Sweet FA back from his investment too in that case. I would have thought he'll try his damned hardest to avoid that.

Me thinks Greg sees limited downside from here. He would know.
