Please DYOR on this with your brokers/HMRC etc as I imagine many have large holdings - it's just a scenario of course but an ISA account of size takes years to build so good to have bases covered before the main event

Obviously a cash scenario or a re-rate to offer price and we're okay, but it'd be silly to entirely out suspension and part cash /share offer etc

Just had a response from HL that any NN shares will be moved to a trading account as not eligible for ISA.... what a bummer!

Surely the beauty of FSPs is that the RNS clock is literally any second of the a trading day not just 7am ;)

Would appreciate if people could assist with research as I'm sure many are in a similar situation - there's two likely scenarios when it comes to a take over, usually:
- Full cash
- Shares in acquiring company
- Both of the above

Usually items in ISA's are tax protected, but there is a unique situation where NN shares are not eligible for an ISA - hence the question.....all assuming it goes ahead of course

I'm hoping the correspondence on gov.uk website covers this but don't want a junior broker unknowingly moving my entire allowance out of the wrapper....

looks like if its sold within 30 days the proceeds can remain? but I'm not sure if they can't be held in there in the first place....

Hi - may have been discussed to death but does anyone have an answer to a situation where NN shares are received in an ISA (which obviously cannot be held in there) would be a shame to lose the allowance built up?

there's not much freefloat, was NT for a good 30min this morning plus its quite early stage with drilling results imminent and Poly on board so you'd imagine quite a few are in for the long haul at the current MCAP

20s today IMO

Why is this place so quiet? Flying copper prices, funded, Poly to take a 22% stake and drill results due....?
