How much cash is left?... not seeing it mentioned here...so tread carefully...they normally come twice a year on WSG if history repeats itself...

Did you ask the question Dacs,.. seeing as you are asking it?.... It didn't appear that you did? Do you always rely on other people ?
Morning gaynelly.
If you read the footnotes, the figures show that the arrival flights are operating at circa 70% capacity ( passengers to available seat ratio)... but the notes also highlight the fact the numbers also include 'in transit' passengers, who may not even disembark. So a little difficult to extrapolate exactly what is going on in terms of the revenue we are generating, but certainly very positive in terms of the big picture and flight volumes.
Best.
PS- Hope you are keeping well,.... gorgeous, sunny day here in Devon!
... how so many of the daily posters on here,..spend so many hours of the day following and jump at any chance to **** off the company. Even a contract win, small or large, is negative?
Totally bizarre. Anybody normal... any real investor.... would welcome contact wins.
Possibly they have an alterior motive..or, maybe they are just dense.
Foxy.
But does that IATA fee get automatically levied on domestic flights. I suspect not.
____
The IATA are an association--- International Air Transport Association---- they do not levy or collect a fee from passengers... so I'm not sure what you are saying?
The fee that WSG receive for 'security' scanning a passenger applies to domestic and international flights. Processing your luggage/x-ray/scanning etc., occurs whether you are on an internal or external flight. I take your point though, that there may be less processes required on an internal flight,...and so the per capita fee might be less with a domestic flight than an international flight ( but we are both just surmising).....and, to be honest, it is largely irrelevant, as what is important is the overall annual income of the contract ...
... and it would appear that flights are returning to SL

..and perhaps our scanning fees are also increasing pro rata....

With TEU traffic up from circa 1M in 2019 to 1.3M in 2020 that bodes well for WSG.
The phenol phase of the works are ahead of schedule and are due to be completed in September of this year so another berth will come on line. If growth continues this year Tema could see circa 1.5M TEU's being processed, 50% up on 2019 when our contracted started.--- and with infrastructure in place to handle 3.5MTEU's.
The good news for WSG, is that any increase in volume and scanning 'revenue' goes straight to our bottom line as costs on the ground are fixed given that the buildings, scanners and staff are all in place.
Last October Tema was added to another round trip port itinerary, which will also support further TEU traffic growth this year.
