I'm not a believer in charting on micro- small aim companies--- my experience is that WSG sp movements are generally news/hype related... or 'lack of'!

But the year chart shows that we fell back/failed to break 14.25..... after making a couple of attends at that level,.. with the next resistance being 16.85?

News coming on 14th May,.. as you are probably aware,.. and AGM is usually end of June in London,.. whether it follows that format this year,.. is obviously in doubt.

For the newbies who might want to think beyond the Covid products--- check out P25 for clients to get a flavour of the potential for this company. Worth noting that these are existing or past clients,... so we already have a huge database of potential customers for the Covid tech related sales.

Mos,... I've been keeping an eye on SL,.... believe there is a review at the end of the month 24th, 28th from memory.

Freetown Airport is still open for essential/emergency flights,.... it is the only airport in SL allowed to make those sorts of flights. I doubt any are taking place in reality.

.. to read the Q1 trading statement next week and the forward looking statement in respect of the covid related sales, the companies strategy in that regard.... and their current commitments, ie are we 'on the ground' training monitoring in any locations?

The info posted up today,... suggest that with some kit,.. we are offering set-up and operations training on that kit.

Yrabs,.... yes. higher than usual,... even with the 'twitter' plugs, and again just goes to show quickly this moves on this level of volume ...up 25% this morning in short order with no actual news!

The delay last week,.. was annoying and poorly managed by WSG, IMHO.,... but at least when we do get the update at the end of next week, .. we will have another two week of Covid related tech sales.,.. which, . given all accounts .. should be significant. Could be a positive surprise coming ,as we have had no update on covid related sales figures since the 1st April... over six weeks ago, come next week,... at which point they confirmed that we had received $1.2M in orders in the last two weeks of March alone. They did say,..in the last RNS,...

"As previously announced our product sales, particularly of fever screening and safety equipment, are flourishing."

It will be interesting to see how much, if any of this, has been booked in the record Q1 figures? Else they should show up in the Q2 figures,... which bodes well for H1 as a whole, even with Freetown being in lock down for Q2.

No I wasn't saying that 'we' as in WSG had signed it. I said Scanport and MPS have both signed... that has been RNS'd---- what WSG said,... is that we are named in that contract as the service providers,.. for 5 years,.. ( renewable).--- But that might be enough for the auditors to consider as a material, post end of year,.. development which should be given mention in the finals,... particularly as it would be linked to the appointment that we were operating under since July-is 2019.

In any case, having read McDoules post,.. I suspect I am barking up the wrong tree.... his Africa airport/ferry... comments might be closer to the mark- from my memory,.. I think the monies that we thought we might get back were a lit lower... nearer £0.5M?--- but that is from memory.

Fred,.. - the accounts were to the period end December 19. So some time ago. I've been trying to think of something,..if anything, that has happened since then which might fall in to the above category. ( ..not that we even know if that is the reason for the delay).

The only thing that I can think of is the fact that the Scanport/MPS contract has been signed, and we have been named in that contract as the provider of the scanning services etc,.--- so, we are effectively a third party to that contract. Possibly this is deemed significant by the auditors as presumably it is linked to our instruction dating back to the middle of last year. It's possible that they raised this at the last minute and have requested that this info be added to the Financials Report?

Just guessing,... but the only thing that I can think of which might have resulted in a last minute delay? Either way not an issue,.. as the company has flagged the results and record Q1 sales. So all good.

It's ticking up for sure. Correct me if I'm wrong, did we get a mention on sky news.

It's becoming clear that the fever detection scanning equipment is going to be part of 'getting back to work".-- whether it is mandatory and becomes Government policy,.. or voluntary, with businesses taking their own view,.. each day that passes,.. businesses are announcing that they are buying and installing kit. We have airports, sports venues, casino's,.. offices etc.,... border crossings.. ----

So regardless of how it actually is in terms of spreading the virus,.. we know it's limitations, it does seem to be one of the measures that will be deployed as a few on here have been saying for a long time.

Happily,.. we have plenty of stock.

RNS dated 29th April:

"Overall, despite the disruption from COVID-19 our business has performed well and been profitable in Q1 with revenues of over £4.2m. We continue to receive a high volume of enquiries from around the world particularly around our fever screening and safety solutions, including some major blue-chip clients. We believe fever screening solutions will now be a standard requirement for airports and many commercial and governmental organisations.

The Group cash position as of 29 April 2020 is £1.6m and it has also significantly increased its investment in its stock of fever screening and associated equipment.
"We continue to monitor the situation carefully and to look for new opportunities to expand our online sales opportunities. Our overriding priority however continues to be the safety and wellbeing of our people and to continue to provide a valuable service to our customers."
