@KenBPilbara says received price for spodumene concentrate will “easily” be US$4000 a tonne in the June quarter, up from US$2650 a tonne in the March quarter as shortages continue. This swest points to the way contract prices are going soon to follow the auction prices.

That was for SC 5.5%, so the equivalent price for SC6% would be $6100 mt. Highest price spodumene thus far. WOW.

Mid market spodumene price as reported by Fast Markets yesterday at $3750mt. Up $500mt in a fortnight. Only going one way, and Platts markets have heard indicative pricing at $5000mt. Sit tight and wait for great things coming soon!

What Lookers very much need to do is ensure they are aligned well with the correct EV OEM's, and also watch their service work as EV penetration takes hold as they need less service work, so therefore assume lower service costs and spares costs etc. Their small move into smart repairs shows they are thinking about this, but need to ensure the transition to a bigger EV parc in the future is executed well. Hope this management team have the out of the box strategic thinking to do this? The past certainly did not!

£7 is 60p+. No this is not going for any less than £1, and that would be on the low side.

Yes those figures are based on spodumene at $900mt, if my memory is correct, compared to fast markets current average at $2500mt, and probably going higher now.
