Tbh you don’t have to have a knack for reading people to grasp from the interview that their is someone waiting in the wings to buy SNG or partner up. I’d be amazed if their wasn’t. Where else would a large pharma be able to get in on what could be one of the most significant drugs this century. All they have to do is get the cheque book out. Or not and someone else will I’m sure grab the opportunity of a lifetime.
Sometimes the derampers can have value, like if you know they are wrong :). Managed to buy more this morning at 1.75 &1.76. I agree with Graking though, his and their opinion matter very little in the grand scheme of things, fundamentals are the only thing that matter. I suppose it keeps them out of Wetherspoons all day. GLA.
Don’t think RM needs to bluff. SNG have the product and the testing is beyond reproach. At the moment their is no other product that I’m aware of that can match SNG001. AZN and Oxfords vaccine may not be ko’d but it has stumbled. About time Government or Big Pharma stepped up. Won’t look too great when the death toll starts rising, if at that point SNG is stuck in the starting stalls. That’s why I think a big pharma will step up. What else is there at the moment to help patients?
Ghia - totally agree, I think Lansdowne are hopefully on fumes if they are not already out. I got some at 184.7 and 185.0. Just can’t have the SP as being where it should be at the moment. We’ve had two good RNS’s that confirm that this company is being packaged and tied up for a neat delivery to a big pharma. CEO, pretty much confirmed this (if you read between the lines) from his most recent Proactive interview. We know the drug works against two serious respiratory conditions, and the current market cap is nowhere near a fair reflection of what this drug is worth. AZN offered in excess of £235m with royalties when it had no efficacy other than in Asthma sufferers with exacerbation. What’s it worth now?. :)
Looking beyond the initial IBS read out I reckon this share has a wonderful chance of multi-bagging over the medium/long term. Looks like a rock solid company who have really got their act together since formation. To have five or six potential drugs in the pipeline in an exciting/cutting edge area of medicine the sky is the limit. Very impressed with Imke Mulder amongst others in the webinar the other day.
Graking, grow a pair or jog on pal. The only one bleating is you. If you are so well versed in AIM trading then what’s the problem with a share that has come from below 10p this year is currently £2 and will probably be £4-5 plus in the future. Some things are worth whingeing about, this share and it’s workers definitely ain’t.
Griffiths, Link (Acacia), Lansdowne have all got it wrong in their timing to sell these shares. The latter less so. Everyone just needs to watch or rewatch the RM Proactive interview from this morning and pay attention to when he talks about interested parties and funding. I’m convinced we have nothing to worry about and a licensing deal or partnership will be forthcoming sooner rather than later. ‘We haven’t made an announcement yet’. Why say that unless you have an announcement to make in all likelihood.
I agree CW25, RM’s body language in the interview and what he was saying ‘just need to be a little patient’ and ‘we’ve always Been in conversation with..... before correcting himself. Definately partnering news imo is due. For me he seemed a lot more chilled out than usual and an air of confidence about him. It reminded me of his last proactive interview before manic Monday when he said when asked about a message to shareholders ‘just wait for the results’. It remained with me that comment and this interview was the same.
The only surprise for me was they didn’t sell earlier as they were distressed sellers really. Fair play to them though they hung around and got more bang for their buck and they did at least help fund the company through its trials to this point. Hopefully the shares are now in stickier hands, probably American. Onwards and forwards :).
Not sure if it qualifies as the second wave as we never really lost the first one, but what seems clear and predictably looking at the UK’s covid infection rates is that numbers are going up fast and no doubt adding to this will be the return of schools. Looking at the ‘u’ shape the course of infection is taking, is quite sobering. With the autumnal weather about to begin it’s not going to get better in the short term. A quick look at Spain and France confirms that they are now getting more infections than the peak in March/April. The only upside personally is that I’m 50 next month so qualify to go on the home trial if I catch the virus which I’ll definately go for if that scenario plays out.
Ora- it would appear people just needed to be patient. Plus their have been doubts about microbiome science and its effectiveness although recent events are turning around sentiment as with the Seres phase III trial with its c difficle treatment. I’ve noticed a few biome biotechs SP dropped off a cliff but are now picking up. Some big names like Bill Gates and Zuckerberg are placing money into the science too.
