Whilst I cannot answer for GRH, if I had to guess, perhaps he is ‘inside’ talking to Lonny, allegedly!

Comments on a BB seem to carry more weight re FCA, rather than a mere tweet….

HighlandMatt, agree with your figures but I think you really need to start thinking in the 3-4 Tcf area (short term)

Then in time, a much much higher Tcf

Evening, if PRD find substantial oil numbers, how would you suggest we maximize that value ??

Sell the gas to the highest bidder, keeping the oil until oil prices recover and sell to the highest bidder, keeping stub equity ?

Any ideas please.

Maybe PRD sit on the oil asset until the world is out of its current recession, China is fully recovered and oil is $100 pb…… and the Moroccan refinery is back online, massively changing the economics.

Then we might achieve a more robust valuation of $5-$8 pb in the ground. Even factoring in a RF of 60% might mean Billions for SH. 2 years tops.

OilyFred, actually there is infrastructure, an oil refinery that is capable of refining 200,000 bpd of crude, however it is currently mothballed.

With a big find, anything is possible, but I agree many millions of investment is required.

So please don’t dismiss the oil we may find as worthless and write it off, that might be rather shortsighted.

Perhaps PG can sell the rights to the gas to one entity and the deeper oil to another entity.

3 billion barrels of oil at $3 pb = $9 billion (divided by 490m shares - do the math)

Or if you think in general terms of 475p per share, per billion barrels of oil

Plus the gas……. = 400p per Tcf

It is becoming ever more clear that whatever bidding war erupts to purchase PRD’s Morocco license the main prize will be a multi Tcf gas field, however the icing on the cake may well be the multi billion barrel oilfield.

Good and bad.

Good because the OIP figure may be 3-5 billion barrels (valued at $3 pb in the ground)

Bad because currently there is little to no infrastructure for any oil, so whichever Co bids for our license will have to invest billions to extract the oil and put in place pipelines/railways to the coast for export.

Result, although the oil will be valuable, due investment required, I am only applying $3 pb value.

Perhaps the Moroccan government might step forward and become a downstream producer.

Anyway my point is do not forget the Oil and as someone reminded us yesterday the NDA with a UAE Co. I would encourage everyone to read back through all of the previous RNS, you can see PG’s long term planning quite clearly. His Master plan is very clear, no breadcrumbs required.

Everything is lining up nicely.

anyone else starting to believe in the 19 tcf figure ? or even see a glimmer of a possibility, you might rapidly change your opinion in a few weeks.

what our license holds is massive both in news/revenue and long term gdp growth for morocco.

the interested parties are lining up, i expect pg’s phone will be extremely busy, we should club together to buy pg a ****ty stick to beat off the opportunist bidders, so the real bidders can make an offer in the billions.

The Cube reckons the herd is about to arrive, he is probably correct, but I do wonder if there is something else going on in the background or maybe both!!
