Nice and crunchy those beaks. All jokes aside. I still think Leap is incredibly cheap. I mentioned another PE deal I invested in around 3 years back on here a couple of weeks back . One of my bigger investments in a Seed round, it had a £2m valuation for a website with a couple of college mates but making a big name for themselves…….also 5 minutes walk from where I’m based….local lads…Today they are doing really well and have been recognised as such, small team of a dozen or so and now in a couple of countries - specialists in gaming and esports recruitment. Their pitch deck 3 years back at £2m valuation was with an expectation of an IPO or sale within five years with a value in the region of £20m. So earlier than they thought they have confirmed offers in the region of £12 - £13million. Only been around 3 or so years since they started , another few years before reaching a profit and still quite small revenues - just got quarterly report yesterday. Revenues are just a few hundred k for the last year They said they probably would have got closer to £15m last year. But markets etc now as low as £12m. It’s a really good company - yet when I compare them to Leap I really don’t see them as being worth much more than a quarter of Leap. The only advantage is there are very few companies doing what they do, whereas with Leap there are literally hundreds supplying slots…..some of last years slots can be yours for a few quid a week. Either way like I said with Moon. It looks very suspect to me
