The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I agree Jolly. I just don't understand why an email would be shared with one person and not RNS the same information. This is quite unprofessional and not a way to run a company. I think Tim has been caught out here and probably knew a couple of weeks ago what was going on with Iamgold. His disappointment clearly shows in the previous RNS
Obviously Oriole have taken there eye of the ball and not investigated what has been happening on the drill site. Probably being reassured by Iamgold that everything is okay but clearly they were not fulfilling there obligations. This is a huge lesson to Tim to investigate what is happening with Oriole on a much detailed basis. It has been a blow to the sp and us shareholders sadly leaving many of us nursing losses. I'm on hold for now but unfortunately do not see this rising for a week or two.
The most sensible thing I've read all day. Management looking shabby to say the least. They are obviously not communicating with iamgold which doesn't bode to well for the future. Only time will tell. Still in for now but not impressed.
10% drop in the morning as all hype. If we get a buyer the RNS will be first thing on any morning. The SP will be brought inline with the offer price and we will not go into suspension. There is a while left here to go yet so be patient. April will be the time you'll see!!!
At 19m mcap this has to be one of the best buys on AIM. With very little movement at the moment when this picks up i think this will fly. All the projects look good on here even without Bhukia. If this also comes good even with a 50% stake we will be quids in and everyone will want a piece of this great company. With Fasken on board we should eventually get a fair result. I can't see the Raj Government continuing on with a play that will cost them many millions in compensation if they stubbornly continue in the fashion they are doing. The next drill results should hopefully see this notch up with pace. DYOR as always Long term this looks great and is going to get exciting.
Very informative Professor as always. It just goes to show how much we have in the pipeline. The SP is incredibly low and to be honest should be high twenties. The potential here is greater than GGP long term. With all our assets without India it is looking good. With India, WOW we then have a monster on our hands. I expect this will trickle back down but its one thats got to be backed for the near future. DYOR as always , this really is showing a lot of promise.
Interesting prof. Basically our price is an incredible bargain that newbies should pounce on before this starts taking of which it will. Several results coming next week hopefully not on the same day but spaced out to allow a good rise in the sp. This is becoming to cheap now.
Difficult to remain faithful with this at the moment as i know that there is so much potential when and if this all comes good. Topped up again today!! It is depressing seeing it drop below 7% on three days this week.
Having Fasken on board has put us one step further to achieving our goal with Bhukia. With the info the good Professor is also supplying i am am pretty positive we will all get a good outcome in March and probably any day now on our other projects. Remember OMI was dropping everyday for a few weeks and now it is flying. This will be the same, patients is the key here.
Interesting Prof. Hopefully we will see a good outcome in a few weeks time. There is a lot in the pipeline here. Another top up for me although as soon as i did it dropped 2.5% what was that about! Anyway averaging down nicely at these levels so all good.
Its a real shame that yet again we encounter foul mouthed abuse. Some of you should be ashamed and learn to control your words. This board is for all of us and also to have respect for one another.
Some of you should get your act together.
Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials IFAM in Dresden have developed a paste for hydrogen storage. The institute is calling the mass “power paste”.
The researchers also claim their paste to offer high energy densities and be suitable for all vehicles from electric scooters to cars. According to Fraunhofer IFAM, the power paste, based on the solid magnesium hydride, should allow hydrogen to be chemically stored at room temperature and ambient pressure and rereleased as required. Since the power paste only decomposes above about 250 degrees Celsius, this works without any issues even if, for example, a scooter equipped with the paste is left in the summer sun for hours.
The storage paste’s starting material is only magnesium in powder form, which is a very common element. At 350 degrees Celsius and five to six times atmospheric pressure, this is reacted with hydrogen to form magnesium hydride. The power paste is then produced with ester and metal salt.
The power paste replaces the cylindrical pressure tank used in fuel cell cars and buses. Therefore, the institute says that this solution is suitable for hydrogen drives in smaller vehicles in cases where a pressure tank would be difficult to implement.
According to the Fraunhofer researchers, the refuelling process is straightforward. Instead of driving to a filling station, the scooter driver changes a cartridge and fills tap water into a water tank. In the vehicle itself, the paste is pressed out of the cartridge and mixed with a precisely measured amount of water, depending on the required power. This reaction produces gaseous hydrogen, which can then be converted into electricity for the electric motor.
Only half of the hydrogen comes from the power paste, the other half from the water in the reaction. “The energy storage density of the power paste is therefore enormous: it is much higher than that of a 700 bar pressure tank,” says Marcus Vogt, a scientist at Fraunhofer IFAM. “Compared to batteries, it even has ten times the energy storage density.” The Fraunhofer scientists even say that the driver should achieve a similar range with the power paste extrapolated to a car as they would with the same amount of petrol, if not greater.
This kind of material’s advantages are fairly clear: a cartridge of the paste could theoretically be swapped out anywhere along a journey. Similarly, the researchers say the paste could significantly extend the flight time of large drones, thereby allowing them to fly for several hours rather than just 20 minutes. For forestry workers, surveyors or high-voltage electricians, this would allow the inspection of forestry or power lines with a drone. In a domestic kind of application, campers might also use the paste in a fuel cell to generate electricity to power a coffeemaker or toaster.
The researchers see another major advantage of their development: the paste can flow and be pumped, so aside
This is a long term play and we have to be patient. I've been in over a year and seen the highs and lows but still keeping the faith. This deal is massive more than any other on AIM at the moment and time is always a waiting game. I would prefer it took another six months to get the deal of a lifetime than to be rushed by the BOD and for it all to fall through. Keep the faith everybody it will eventually happen.
3% rise yesterday and 10% drop today on low volume. We need more volume to jump this up. There plenty in the pipeline we just need a boost up. I think in a couple of months time this will activate northwards, for now its a steady slog. Holding long term so will just switch off for a while.
Doesn't make any sense why we are only 3% up. Should be many more buys to get this shifting . Probably be a 4% drop in the morning so the RNs would be wasted. This should be rising slowly everyday. To much emphasis placed on one area me thinks? Many projects here should be flying not crawling.
