The main reason for the consolidation is to attempt to reduce the volatility of the share, it has just dropped to £1.45, this is more controlled than dropping way below the 10p mark....

On the flip side incoming looks like a man with a plan......

The consolidation was well published and explained countless times on all these boards, although I wouldn’t rely on boards to guide my investments. Anything below £1.51 today is a loss on yesterdays price......DYOR

Divide share holding by 15 and that’s how many your holding, ie yesterday they were 10p today 1.50, actually still 10p?????

As the ex divi date is declared on the 15 Oct, can’t we just sell a few days after as we will retain our entitlement to the dividend with non of the risk????

Volume of sales to buys is nearly double, why would people be selling at this stage????

Hi Clemson, excuse my ignorance, when / if an offer is forthcoming that will be published on an RNS for the shareholders to vote on or will any offer already have been agreed before the RNS drops. When you say a mad scramble to buy the remaining shares what do you mean?

Hi, many thanks for the advice and useful feedback. If it transpired the offer was rejected and AA had to refinance what sort of effect realistically would this put on the current SP, i am assuming it would tank to circa 15-20p?

Exactly, I don’t know why they don’t just state were pulling out of uk warehouses etc, goodbye massive income tax contributions, they have already stated their sorted with air freight and would make even more profit. See what our friendly MP then has to say, as we made national bbc 6 o’clock news last week how about a right to reply..

They need to drop a well structured reply focusing on their recent mitigation, only it seems they would rather ignore these events and that’s exactly what the media etc will focus on. They must have an in-house legal team who could box this off and allow the company to move on. Only time will tell, something that is fast running out.....

Agree, this shows little sign of stabilising, why the BOD don't issue an RNS or buy large is starting to speak volumes. I see this sitting or rather stagnating around 2.95-3.05 for weeks and like others have had enough. The build up and hype to this share was immense and to be honest we were all sucked into the projections, just wish i had got out at 3.70, oh well these are the risks we take. The only positive is ASOS was also down today and sometimes we follow suit.....

Yes in 6 months I do believe it will stabilise but for the moment it is a day trading share. Investors are on the side lines waiting to see whether now is the right time, with its volatility it’s not. It will come good, but not yet.
