Some of my biggest gains were buying Kaz at 70p when all was gloom and doom and selling for 1000p, Glencore at 65p, AAL at220p and so on. I made close to 600K pounds profit which I put into bricks and mortar. Nowadays I just play with 50,000pounds for fun and can afford to lose it if need be.

Any gains I make are a bonus which pays for holidays and so on. Buy when others are fearful. You win some, you lose some.

The SP is at this level as the market thinks there is no equity in the company. Just a sale of say Trafford Centre for say 2.5bn will light the torch paper IMO, or a bid.

Next news is close IMO.

JW will have to fork out £ 400m for the 70% he doesn't own if he bids at 40p, he will be in a strong position to negotiate with the lenders.

JW paid 39.40p per share in August 2019 so any bid must be at a minimum of this.

Bear in mind the freefloat is what 10% which leads to huge movements either way and it is difficult to buy in volume. I suspect there has been massive order filling past two days which has held the price down. Today and onwards may be a good day?

I have a feeling that JW will launch a mandatory bid for INTU. There have been several buys on Wed and Thursday over 1m shares which could take him to 30% threshold to launch a mandatory bid.

He would not wish to see his beloved Trafford Centre in the hands of lenders.

If he does that, he would have to pay the highest price paid in the last 12 months. Does anyone know what this price could be?

"Investors may still find value

Well, “worth” is something of an abstract measure in the world of listed property companies. Intu’s shopping-centre portfolio is valued at £6.6bn, even with the third that has been lost over the past 26 months. Despite a net debt of around £4.7bn, that leaves it with just under £2bn in net assets. And that value is something some of those investors Mr Roberts talks about are interested.

What Intu has to do in the short term is avoid its loan-to-value going above 70 per cent, because it is around this level that the banks will start getting concerned and could limit Intu’s cash flow at its shopping centres. But there’s an easy solution to that – sell all or part of some assets.

“We’re not ruling anything out,” says Mr Roberts. “We’ve already sold £600m of assets in the past year, but we don’t have a priority list of disposals. We are taking a considered approach to this.

“We have investors that are interested in talking to us on other capital-raising options. They could include a range of options.”"

According to Yuri's calculations, the SP should be £3 a share. I would even take 30p if I can buy today at 7p!

People may recall MTFB which went down the pan after FDA refused to give approval. FDA approval can make or break a company. In SYM's case, we have FDA approval
It does not get better than that. Orders/contracts/deals follow FDA approval.
